Hello everyone,

As some of you might have guessed, since March 2016 we've been intensively working on changes to BW. Some of them you liked, some you didn't, but they kept coming nonetheless.
We've been doing all this to prepare BW's code to support a mobile app. It required a lot of effort from Konrad - he needed to create a complex interface that would allow for undisrupted connection between the app and BW's servers.
At the moment we are finishing the interface. We're also looking for an external developer to create the app. (I wanted to share this info when we find one, but I didn't want to keep you guessing).
We hope that the app will be ready by the end of next year. It will be a fully functional app for android. If it is well received, we'll also develop an iOS version later.


We're also planning on releasing the following patches for BW next year (2017):
  • Daily quests – keeping in mind your comments, we're working on a bigger and better daily quest system.
  • The possibility to craft an item tied to the daily quests system so that even the most unlucky players can make something for themselves. (This is mostly a concern on Necro, but the system will also be available on UW).
  • Epic items 2.0 – both for UW (1.0 and 2.0) and Necro we'll release epics 2.0
  • Changes to FLD so that the farm to 2k pts is less tedious


There may be more changes coming, but at the moment we are concentrating on the above so that the company that will develop the app has access to all the features.

What exactly does the Epic 2.0 include?

I mean do the bonuses get bigger for items, like any extra damage modification or attacks and such like this here example??

Or do we simply just find out closer to the patch release date?

Argh, there was some info in this post: Patch 1.56 + Volleyball World Championship + World War II event + EPIC items but for some reason it's now empty :o

In short - there will be a chance that your epic item will be a unique epic item with a special trait.

I've been asking for an app for aaaages Big Grin

The core game is excellent, but the browser interface can be off putting. VERY EXCITED FOR THE APP!

Will these new unique epic items be distinguishable from regular epic items in the quest success screen?
A different colour perhaps? or underlined? perhaps a trumpet sound when you click quest complete? lol.
