Well if your 4th player was act II, it woulda been even stronger still. And have you forgot that theres a RANDOM FACTOR in the game aswell? Even if you have all Act I players you might get a ridiculously strong beast. And if they're all Act II, you could get a beast that's the same as fighting a kitten.
So yes, it matters all the time. Give two people the EXACT SAME BEAST EXACT SAME STATS, but one party is Act I and the other is Act II, the Act II beast will be strengthened even more, BECAUSE they're act II and the rules say so.
Sorry, i think i went off track somewhere there...
Tl;dr: If your showing strong act II beasts, all players must be act II, and don't complain. This game is flipping random.
