I highly doubt it would go higher, which is why ranged have suffixs, so you don't get up to good +5 very fast because of the requirements. They're still a bit too big in my opinions. 49 intellegence for shuriken of reaction +5!!!

It's bad enoguh that the requirements have almost every single parameter in it, but at that hight, you have to buy all your armour to boost different parameters, as well has find some way to increase the damage they do as there isn't a parameter that increases ranged damage.

If they have NOTHING else, then ranged weapons should be able to rely on high attacks.

Look at this, based on confirmed knowledge (as far fetched as it is to get).

Thunderfist +5 = 3 attacks
Berserker = +1 attacks
Beastmaster new patch arcana = +1 attacks
Good armour of Speed +5 = +2 attacks

Beastmaster with two melee weapons gets 14 attacks. If you assume a Good +5/Perfect +2 Thunderfist gets another attack as its secret bonus then that's 16 attacks.

Ranged should get more attacks then that, as difficult as this may be to acheive (has anyone ever seen or heard of a Perfect Thunderfist on any server?) Ranged weapons do seem to have their place as a seige weapon.

Mows down flack with attacks to spare, amount of attacks means some damage will get through the low level human sheild, averaged effect of sum total agility+perception means you can still hit a specialised player (I've seen a merc with over 100 agility and only 5 perception before, they where invulnerable to me so I bought a shuriken of long range in case it ever cropped up again).

*EDIT*

Make it a Fast Thunderfist for another attack at Good+2, so either 18 or 16 attacks per round if there is a secret bonus attack on Thunderfists.

Shuriken on Good+5 has 12 attacks so let's say it has 16 attacks on perfect+5 (2 upgrades without additional bonus). 16 basic attacks + 2 attacks from Good jacket of speed(+5) + 1 beastmaster arcana = 19 attacks.

That's still pretty close though, given the avialable strenght boost.

This is all academic for some time yet though. These are pretty out there extremes we're talking about.

What about 1h guns?
No beastmaster would use them, speed would kill criticals, just tattoo gives +2 attacks. Perfect uzi +2 has 4 attacks which is still 'just' 12 attacks per round. Compared to melee the outcome is.... we all know.

They have 11 attacks on good+5, not 12, as well as every perfect up to perfect +2. I should know, i have a good shuriken +5.
