So us little people get ignored , pity the patch does nothing to give us something to enjoy . I am a patient soul so one day all this might apply to me and the rest of us lesser souls ( if it makes it to the other servers ) . Never mind will keep plodding on and see what happens , hope the top 50 or so enjoy all the hard work . I am sure my words will be either ignored or picked apart but it might be nice to throw the " little ones " a crumb or two , might stop so many leaving once they have grown tired of the seemingly one sided nature that some parts of this game have .

I'm not suggesting that it becomes a level playing field as that would give no incentive to progress , but a patch should address the problems thus far encountered and not merely be a sop to those who have shown loyalty as even those players who've been here the longest will soon run out of reasons to return , if I've gotten hold of entirely the wrong end of the stick then please let me know .

Another way in which the bigger players gain another advantage again ..... they don't only get super weapons, they also get a higher experience rate.

I'm getting more and more certain that the devs are not actually looking at the balance of the game, or if they are, they're failing dismally to actually address the matter.

No, all contacts including ambushes are still available. The only difference is that the character's are stronger and journeys harder.

Those items are extremely rare. You can find them on A2 pilgrimages (1-3% chance of looting)

Legendary items receive 20% discount on the requirements.

You can't put legends on auction.

Upgrading and merging is more expensive

You can merge only 2 LEGENDARY items!


#Can any item be legendary?

Yes

#What are the extra bonuses for legendary items?

Guns 2h - +1 attack, dmg +20%
Guns 1h - character's hit *1,35, dmg +30%

Horror - both sides have 0 reputation and charisma in battle. Character is immune to Punishment and other blocking skills. Costs 80 BP (max 1 lvl)

You steal both 6 Beast Hide and extra attack

If you attack with 15 agents and the defender has 15 police - our escort turns into 30 Agents.

Unknown.

Probably on the beginning but we are not sure.

Can you now spend the same length of time devising a similarly exciting patch for players under Level 50 only. I think it would be to the benefit of all that have an interest in BW...

A good game is one where you have to work towards things, with a variety of paths along the way. For example in this game you can have a variety of paths like 1h/2h Guns/Melee 2h Ranged and all of the different tatoos. Also there are expeditions that YOU HAVE TO WORK TOWARDS. You can't expect to be able to beat WD at level 20. These things you have to work towards, and you had no problem working towards higher levels until you hear that there is a bigger incentive to work towards higher levels and ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO WORK TOWARDS THE GAMES BETTER FEATURES.

That may be the case for some players ..... and wanting the game handing on a plate is not only in the realms of the low and mid level players either (a certain recently deleted account for instance), but what most of the contributors to these discussions are after is a balanced game where the players actually have a chance to get somewhere ..... there has been almost no change in the top 20 positions (apart from minor jostling, vacations, deleted accounts and bans) for over 3 months.

Goals are all well and good, but if they become less and less attainable for lower to mid level players then the likelihood is that they will get frustrated with the lack of progress that the game system starts to promote, and they will leave ..... and that is not a good situation.

What needs to be done in these patches is that the deficiencies in all parts of the game have to be looked at, and rather than hurriedly adding a patch that benefits 1 group of players (and just as bad ..... is only tested with 1 group of players), a balanced patch that doesn't give power to one part of the playerbase while leaving others unchanged or even depowered has to be devised ..... and tested with a good cross section of players, especially here in Underworld where the playerbase is supposed to be different from the other servers.

What the Devs are doing with patches like this is similar to the old adage of using a finger plaster on a gaping wound ..... it will only work for a short time if it works at all.

Personally I think that a patch that is formulated primarily for the sub 50's would be a bad idea, however, I also think that the previous patches that have strongly favoured the over 50's fell far short of the mark too. As I've stated above, a balance needs to be struck ..... and patches should take all levels into consideration (although I do think that a certain bias should be placed on them towards the sub 50's for a while to balance out the previous patches)

And I can't help but notice that SushiMaker and Konrad have still not answered the primary question put to them a few times in this thread:

I think you raised the one valid concern with a patch aimed only at players under Level 50 there and answered it in the same sentence. We need the Devs to spend a bit of time balancing out the imbalances they have created. While this latest patch adds some very exciting things for the players six months or more into the game, we need to see something exciting to keep the rest of the player base active for the six months they'll need to get to Act 2.

i think the solution is ,as scillage said to introduce a new expidition for lower lv players, but i think anyone can do it, but the rewards are quite low so higher lvs wouldnt want to do it. for these expiditons you wouldnt have to be in a clan to do it, you just send a message link to some people you know and they could do it together

Interesting. I've often wondered about the possibility of sector overseers being developed. I'm sure it was mentioned at some point, but I've heard nothing since. It would also be interesting to see this "sector champion" thing being expanded upon and would lead to some interesting jostling for position of squares in sectors where you are more likely to be the "Champion". Anything that adds a new dimension to the warfare has got to a be a good thing...

unless it was made like an EXPO so that buildings have nothing to do with the fight.... just PvP.... it would make it a fair fight....

i think it would also help make the game interesting in other ways as well as low lv expiditions as althoagh zauboron is top of the rankings, people sometimes beat him. and i think some of the higher lv players would like to be champ of zone 2, for example. i also think if they did use this idea you would be able to become the champ of more than one sector and/or not just your own.

Zone 2 has an overseer already - it is (will be) The One in Zone 1. Having a champion of multiple sectors is pointless.
I generally disagree with this idea, but thats just my opinion.

There is only one major problem that I can see with that idea ...... Beastmasters, Cultists and Absorbers can all use their arcana without buildings being factored into it ...... Thoughtcatchers however do not have this advantage, as their arcana do not work independantly of their bodyguard agency and police station

Lets see how they handle implementing this patch ..... Faith is something that the dev team have given us no reason at all to have in them.
