I would agree that tactically Assassin is the best, gret for melee ambush and for Expeditions, but it isn't a specialist.

I like Monk since it has 6 benefits over 4 upgrades (although the doubled up ones are the expencive ones, of course ) and it's fundamentally anti-gunner. Not that I hate gunners or anything but once it starts paying off I can begin farming above my station.

i do have club though
assaisn is the next best thing for me
i will reset my tattoos though a long way n to the furure then do get one though

I wanted to go for blacknight but can't find a decent weapon with the correct equipment for critics or health. (that's too bad since I am a beastmaster and arcan are good for melle fighter). I don't want to go for 2 one handed melee weapon since it is too common.

I am also looking at hunter's but since the lack a +hit tatoos, and vengeance doesn't work with them (and reaction has too high requirements), I still don't have any tatoo (and soon level 40).

But I will see with next small patch since it will affect ranged weapons.

But at the same time, I like having the luck thing... but the minimum defence is a pain.

And if I wanted to, I could always change to 1h guns.

My pleasure I was thinking about Assassin too, but after I weighted all pros and cons I decided to specialize in one type of weapons, so the benefits are higher. Assassin is good, but with guns you lack to hit bonus and additional attack and with melee you lack additional attack.

I think every tattoo has its pros and cons, and its definitely down to how you intend to play the game.

The Sniper tattoo means you'll excel with guns, but the Assassin means i have flexibility.

I always knew I was going to end up being a Black Knight. I just had find the right weapon.
Now I need to do some major upgrading to my actual armor...
Assassin was my second pick because of the flexibility it offers. Then again, getting those xxx of suicide weapons can be troublesome.

No offence, but 4% is pretty low, wait until you get a higher %, then you can notice it

yeah im another assasin.like artoir i chose it cause of the flexibility to use either 1 handed melee or for expos 2-handed gun.the critical hit bonus was just to good to let pass.and with the ignore defence it really is a great tatoo.i know the zerk tattoo Desire for battle gets the additional attack per wep u have equiped.wat lvl do u need to get ur tattoo to get this extra bonus.and if their are extra bonuses for the assasin tattoo wat lvl do u need to get these???

Click on 'Tutorial', either here or when you play Blood Wars (it's in the side bar) and you'll go to a mini Blood Wars wiki with a section on tattoos telling you what all of them do.

As a brief answer to your question, Berzerker only gets the bonus attack on level 5 of one of its expensive tattoos and assassin doesn't have any extra bonuses but seems to be strong on lower levels to balance it out (compared to Monk anyway ).

I went with sniper. Think that this was mainly dictated by the fact I got shorts of sun and bandana of prophet right at the start of the game which meant that I focused on guns. From that point it was a choice between assassin or sniper, be a specialist or keep my options open for later in the game. Still not sure if I made the right choice!

Well, trust me it is totally worth it as long as you forget all of the paths apart from Instructor, because then you can have 2 attacks with a Sniper when you get it to level 5.

And also lucky you getting those right at the start

Assassin

High critical chance easy with getting high agility equipment.
Smile on my face when i see sometimes 8x 150+ crits in a row.

Maby i don't have additional attack from tattoos but crit chance will compensate.
Assassin with ak and good shooting gear can be quite awesome in dealing 600+ dmg per round

30% crit chance from tattoos + 20+% from elvish xxx not to mention possible +% from weapons or assassin with 50% crit chance and ak dealing 60+ dmg per hit.


You can't deny these advantages.
True that assassin is busted against high agility berserker or another assassin or gunman like Diablo, but all tattoos got their weaknesses.
Assassin don't have additinal attacks, it's designed to go fast and hit hard.

And it can be a very good tattoo if you will specialize on one type of weapons, especialy with suicade suffix.
Assassin with 2 suicade weapons can't be ignored

im assasin, and i think i picked the right choice as im getting good benifits now and dont have to upgrade all my tattooes to get an extra attack or something

does anyone think that the tattoo name affects its popularty, because the most populer ones (sniper, assasin, bk, zerker) all sound really good, but there are no gangsters
