rounding with easiness
so erm this doesn't appear to be covered in the tutorial however if i am mistaken feel free to correct me.
i recently hit lvl 70 and this should give me 5% easiness (am not an absorber) which in turn would mean that for me to equip say something that has a lvl 74 requirement i would get a -3.7 lvl "discount" so to speak.
ok so lvl 74 - 3.7 = 70.3
.....so why oh why BW do you decide that this should be rounded up to lvl 71!?
surely rules of conventional rounding dictate that it should be lvl 70 not 71 \O_o/
/rant

lol Faq probably got yourself another warning here
This should probably be in screaming room if you're ranting.
And yeah English rules would say it should be 70 but i dont know how Polish rounding works or if its any different at all lol.
Edited 3 times FTW

just think of it as a public service announcement warning people that BW doesn't follow the rules of mathematics or logic! :V
also lolwarnings

In every case except for points, values are rounded up. I don't know why but they are. It's pretty poor mathematics really. I understand why the points are rounded down to the nearest 1000 exp, but with regards to easiness and stats, surely it ought to be calculated by conventional methods?

it isnt rounded. taking your example
ok so lvl 74 - 3.7 = 70.3
you need lvl 70.3 but there is lvls with full numbers 70,71,72... it means lvl 70 is not enough so you need lvl 71. thats why it shows you lvl 71

So it is, in effect, rounded.

I warned for spam. If you have nothing to add to the discussion, then it is wiser not to post at all.

it is a ceiling in fact as it is round up to the higher integer value

Rounding up can be good and bad. Good fo things like +%% chance to hit / damage
but ba for level and stat requires. So it's pretty hit and miss
