bit of a jump, from 2 bs to 33 bs? the last one that went for 34 was because there were 34 bids - these were all at 2bs, and someone has slapped on 15x the value. Can someone look into this please?

and again duping the golden items with another item at 33bs still makes merges cheaper in the long run then paying these kinda prices each time!!!
maybe if you guys had a clue about the game play and how dead the amulet market is on this server, maybe your have a slight idea how hard is it to get anywhere
now answer 1 question, is the dupe prices over priced
or are the single auctions overpriced?
you honestly need a group discussion to solve this... one person clearly is not enough!
honestly think you should undo these bans!
you guys dont do anything unless someone makes a post.. so dont pick and choose when you want to deal with something, either do it all the time, or dont do it at all.. easy has that!

The behavior of putting 33 bs on an item that was previously sold for 1 bs - that's some very high increase in price and there was no bid war to justify this. If there was a bid war you wouldn't get banned, rather the person pushing the prices so high would be, but as it stands there were only 3 bids on the items.
I also think that 30bs more is not really a huge amount so that is why the ban is so short.

If your items sell for a price that is too high, or much higher (unreasonably) than before you should report that fact, using report auctions button or you will also get banned together with the person bidding.
Once again - this ban is not for maliciously increasing prices on dupes, it is for pushing meaning one person is sending a stream of stones to another person by paying more than is due for something. In this case both the pushed person (so the person receiving stones - makiavelli) and the person bidding too much (alyat) are banned. One way to avoid this ban is to report your auctions if you can clearly see that they have unreasonably spiked in price. Sometimes it means that they will be cancelled or partially reversed, but but you will be (mostly) safe from a ban.

Also, Question: If someone else reports the auctions, can someone else - say Maka - also report the auction? Because if not, the reason he couldn't report was because I reported them as soon as I could...

Let me correct myself - it's not about overbidding generally, but about UNREASONABLY overbidding (bidding too much, much more than the item is worth). This is called pushing. You have bid 33 bs for an item that is worth much less than that, that is all.

You are missing the point - the last batch of items had gone for 1-3 bs each, the only time its gone above that is in a bidding war - look at the last items to go for 34 bs, there was 34 bids on each! By putting 16x the current bid on, you are pushing the prices up, and therefore well above market value.
In regards to Maka, I don't think it is fair that he has been banned - if they were my items being sold, then I would've got the ban!

You are not banned for arranging this, you are banned for receiving too many stones and not reporting the fact right away.
This is as much explaining as I can give you, if you still think you have been banned unjustly, you can PM C47 about it.
