  Dynamic junk prices

Is it the intended behavior of dynamic junk pricing that if no one auctions junk on a given day then the market price in the Shop goes up? The last time junk sold for more than 4 bs / junk on auction was 2020-07-09, and yet the price in the Shop is currently 21 bs each.

It seems like the more appropriate behavior would be that when no junk is auctioned, the price in the Shop stays the same.

We'll investigate this. What sever are you referring to?

My apologies, this is for R1EN.

Thanks!

This also appears to be the case on R4, with the only sale of junk being 4junk for 1bs and the price in shop at 10bs for 1 junk

Price on R4 is up to 25bs now and still only been that one sale of 4 junk for 1bs...
Has there been any progress with this issue yet? Or should I wait till next season ^^

I am told that this is intentional - if no actions are created, the price in the shop is supposed to go up. You can counteract this by simply buying junk do lgo and selling on auction.

People on the server have basically two choices if they want to spend BS on junk: buy it from the shop at a high price or buy it on an auction possibly at a lower price. Even if the auctioned junk is not sold at a high price, it should lower the price in the shop.

From what we are observing., it seems to be the reverse
of what you are saying..
When junk is not sold in auction, the price sky rockets..

ATM, we have managed to get the price down.,
but it took 2 weeks of effort.. It looks also like,
1 stupid bid, and the price leaps..

For now all we can do watch and report any outrageous bids..

Cheer`s for the update though Wink

http://prntscr.com/umd6xz

you can see clearly, no junk sold for more than 2 bs per junk.,
and the price still increased??

Is this a screenshot from R1? I can't see these auctions on R4.
