So,

[UW] Added dynamic junk price. Junk price in the shop will now depend on its price on the auctions. The minium price is 1 BS, the maximum price is 50 BS. The price in the shop is higher by 1 BS.

Can we get an explanation on exactly how this works?

As of right now, since this update, there has been 5600 pieces of junk sold, for a total of 86787 Bloodstones (equivalent), which would average at 15.5 Bloodstones per piece of junk.

Price in shop, 51 Bloodstones??

Good. I don't see why it should be an option.

All I'm seeing are people who want a short cut to gaining newer more fashionable evo's whenever they are released, when others have got what they wanted and needed simply by playing the game.

Here are my evo levels and the points spent getting them (and there are players with more than me).

Wings level 5 2250
Carapace level 4 1500
Claws/Fangs/Quills level 4 1500
Venom glands level 5 2250
Hardened tendons level 5 2250
Additional cavity level 5 2250
Daemon blood level 5 2250

I have more Level 5's than I can use due to my level, and nothing under level 4. Indeed, all the evo's were maxxed at Level 4 well before Level 5's were introduced.

So i've collected just shy of 100k evo points. What's so hard about getting them exactly other than time?? (And if you've been active since evo's were introduced, you really have no excuse)

Why?? Just do all of your attacks every day.

I've got 13 level 4 Runes (so plenty of Essence used in upgrading them to that level), and the odd usage of the Cube of Cain.

I've also got:

Essence of Fire 68218
Essence of Earth 35144
Essence of Water 33785
Essence of Soul 60790

You only get essence from attacking, so go do it Smile

Really?

Isn't essence the new Honour points? Easy to gain far more than you'll ever need?

Takes 2700 to change 3 level 3 runes into a level 4, which looked like a lot on Day 1.

Luckily (or not), it takes a year or more to get those 3 level 3 runes in the first place

Across the 4 colors, my current essence amounts are:

Red - 59198
Green - 36600
Blue - 38673
Yellow - 47708

Never going to use all that, and that's just doing my attacks every day, and having created 25 level 3 runes so far along the way.

Just do your attacks Para, the evo points will come in handy to help you get more runes too Wink

I agree with paying for changing your name,race and clan stuff and I understand that the devs have to make a living somehow,but some premium options can really make a difference compared to free players and "convenience" doesn't justify the fact that you can just pay to advance faster.



Wait a minute. Let's go through your points here:

1. Yep. Premium = more Attacks & Quests. Can't argue with this one.
2. No. You are paying for convenience. 3 mins vs 30 mins. Quests deluxe does NOT give you any more quests.
3. No again. Attacks deluxe does NOT give you more attacks. Just a shorter time between them, so again, you are paying for convenience.
4. No again (there's a pattern forming here). Caravan itself is a convenience, saving you having to quest individually, but you can quest 1 at a time should you wish, buying the same disposable over and over.
5. Not sure how changing your e-mail address is allowing you to "pay to win".........
6. Maybe, but that all links back to point 1. If you get more attacks / quests, then yes, all other things being equal (very important that bit) you will progress faster.

Convenient.

"a quality or situation that makes something easy or useful for someone by reducing the amount of work or time required to do something"

Everything bar point 1 fits exactly into the dictionary definition of Convenience. Number 1 is the only option that gives you more of something rather than simply taking less time to do the same taks. 2,3,& 4 are simply time savers.

You said it yourself in your 3rd point "I don't have time to attack every day,but i would have if i had a premium account". Nothing is stopping you other than your lack of time, so if you made the time, you could. You will not "progress faster" by attacking in 10 seconds vs attacking in 2 minutes vs attacking in 10 minutes, if the amount of attacks you can do over a set period is the same. Same with quests. If I did 12 quests of half an hour each, and you did 12 quests at 3 minutes each, then 6 hours later, we've both done 12 quests. Both advanced at the same rate.

So we are no more pay to win than we were when the premium option was first introduced.

I'm in a Z3 with a level 8 Hospital. This generates 8 poh / hour or 192 poh every day.

You can get 30k+poh from a good Hospital run. Which you can do from any zone. Even a slums can get you 3k if you solo it.

I've currently got HONOUR PTS 2 672 914. Only a TINY % of that is due to me being in Z3.

So not multiple levels of the same building, just 1 level of each.

Could help relieve the boredom of waiting 2 or even 3 months for a single level of Arm Shop to go up.

But if Vlade is competing with a 20% boost from a level 1 talisman that the snipers aren't using, then all they need to do is use it as well to maintain an advantage.

You surely need to compare people who are using the same % boost to see the actual impact in the game, rather than no solid examples and just citing the fact that as 1h guns have more attacks it is therefore unbalanced towards them.

Like I said, I can only base it on what i'm actually seeing in the game, and I am a gunman t(rather than a gangser) that whilst I may not be the best in the game, I certainly consider myself above the average. And the snipers i'm comparing to aren't exactly bad either Smile

But all I am actually seeing in expos is a +40% boost for me, still only puts me on a par with a sniper with absolutely zero boost on say the Giant Chopper, and still well behind them on a Cemetery.

So if the snipers now decided to use the same Talismans as me, and they also started to get a +40% boost where they are getting none in my examples below, what do you think would happen to their damage and the difference between theirs and mine damage per round then?

So. Can't argue with the maths, but how is this actually panning out in the game.

I've been using Silent Hunter recently in expos (1h gunner), and yes, i've obviously seen a boost in my damage. For the record, i've got P+5 Solar set, P+5 Deadly set (the cape is Orchid for max +damage) & I use 1 P+5 D/Eagle & 1 P+5 Scorpio.

I also use the Silent Hunter at Level 2, so +40% Crit damage boost.

Cemetery for the unbelievers: (No loss of attacks for any of the below)

My damage per round, with a 40% boost = 16106.
Sniper with neither of the above Talismans = 19751
Sniper 2 with neither of the above Talismans = 18736
Sniper 3 with neither of the above Talismans = 20170
Melee 1h with Ziz 1 and SHunter 2 (55% boost) = 16822

Giant Chopper:
My damage per round, with a 40% boost = 20022.
Sniper with neither of the above Talismans = 21401
1 h gunner with Silent Hunter 1 (20% boost) = 20011

Giant Chopper:
My damage per round, with a 40% boost = 23814.
Sniper with neither of the above Talismans = 23126
Sniper 2 with neither of the above Talismans = 18762

Not got any reports with 2h melee to compare with unfortunately, but even with me sporting a +40%, my damage per round in expos is still lagging behind snipers with no +% bonus, so if they start using the same they will boost by +40% leaving me way behind theirs again, and seems just behind a 1h melee who has a 55% boost although only 1 expo to compare against.

Yes 1h gunner get more attacks, but please don't forget that our base damage is the lowest already, so it's not like we're tearing up expos singlehandidly. I need to use SHunter 2 to get near to a sniper not using it. Not exactly giving me a great advantage.

Also.

Take 3/4 people with this (or even more in really big expos) and virtually guarantee a badge at every attempt. Might as well just give the badge to the expo starter every time rather than having to land the final kill shot.

Yep, no limits to the amount of Talismans, but there is a limit to the amount of Runes you can use.....which effectively put a limit on the number of Talismans.

Gives them room to then do things like the new evo's that at Level 4 allow you to use extra Runes, without having to re-write pesky Talisman limits at the same time.

Yep, pretty useless for expos as we see them right now, as with a half decent team, few expos, even Chronos, get to round 3 even.

But there are 17 new "Rune" expos, we've only seen the first 8 so far, and those later few are tough.

I have a sneaking suspicion that once people start to unlock those later Rune expos, a couple of Absorbers with the ability to 50% horror every round may become a permanent fixture in most peoples expos, as the expos may well go for many rounds, and their crits will 1 shot kill anyone. Let alone what their specials might be.

I have my doubts that there is a whole bunch of "original players" just waiting silently in the wings for a new UK server.

And I think any that are would be more than outweighed by people who play now but wouldn't start again on a new server.

So there seem to be 4 options :

1. New UK server non family - Really can't see this and also can't see the point. It'll be even quieter than we are now, how many servers / realms can't even take up their full Z3 & Z2 allocation other than ours??
2. New UK server family - Maybe, but again there will simply be fewer actual players and loads of alts (probably with even less premium than the UK generates now). And playing with yourself is only fun for so long Wink
3. Add family to current UK server - This seems to be the most popular option as there are many who would start an alt on this server. For them it keeps the best of both worlds. No-one wants to throw away years invested in their current accounts, but a lot of people want a second or even third option to try different builds / races etc.
4. No new UK server and no family added to current one - Most likely scenario i'm afraid due to number of players not justifying the expense.

As to potential new players being put off by never being able to reach the top levels, same in many many games of this type that are available on-line. I don't think we are unique there. I think it's more of a problem that there's not actually much to do.

New player comes along, presses some buttons to run down ambushes & quests. Then says "Hey guys, what do I do next?". Answer is wait until tomorrow and do it again.

Let's face it, we actually play a pretty looking spreadsheet with a rng thrown in.

OK, so this game is set post World War 3 according to the fluff, and i'm pretty sure the Nukes didn't wipe out all of the shoes, so it's about time that we all stopped plodding around bare footed and got ourselves some nice snazzy new footwear.

Plus it seems to be a strange ommission considering every RPG & MMO out there has a slot for footwear, except us. And we have space in the charachter graphics if you move the shorts icon up a touch.

So how about for a starter for 10:

Moccasins - Sandals - Clogs - Stilettos (F) - Brogues (M) - Wellingtons - Cowboy Boots

Think about it, a brand new set of items, some old and some new prefix & suffixes (I see myself in Boots of Stomping or Brogues of Kicking personally), everyone starting from a level playing field, crazy auctions for "must have" new items (with no-one knowing the prefix/suffix order to begin with).

C'mon Devs, I'm tired of getting blisters every day trekking bare footed to the Field of Many Bones and back.

Give us some shoes, and something new to collect & trade Smile

Got the parts (but need to upgrade them) to merge the shorts to P+1, merge a 2nd Perfect Friendly Knuckle-duster of the Ancestors, merge another Perfect Titanium Bracelets of Authority and to upgrade my Circlet to Perfect.

Unfortunately they are all at Normal +5 and i'm out of LS Frown

Still, I took them ALL to their current level without using Ritual so can't complain Big Grin

As has been pointed out, there are already extra buildings for more Lgo & Blood in Z4/Z3, maybe it's time to add an extra Z4 building for people too.

So, there we were, hunting a Sphinx, understanding that as usual this time of the month it's 50/50 with Anubis:

I was using same square, but why have different hp with different charisma.

I already accept that on underworld charisma didnt increase HP.

but it was different on necropolis, maybe you can try first blood in necro for few days (without build any building) and try for your self.



Your police station will give you more hp for every extra point of Charisma you have. You can see this in the Building Site. If you change your Charisma and then check your building site, it tells you how many hp the police station is giving you. But, if you had no police station, you would get no extra hp's.

POLICE STATION (LEVEL 19)
Apart from upholding the rule of law, the police provides you with additional protection. Scouts help you detect ambushes and policemen aid you in defence of your territory.
Effect: PERCEPTION during ambushes increased by 19, +4997 to HP in defence

This is my police station. It's level 19 and my Charisma is 263. So it gives me an extra 4997 hp.

4997 = 263*19 so if I added 1 more point of Charisma i would get 264*19 = 5016.

If I had no police station, the calculation would be 263*0 = 0 extra hp.

So NO BUILDINGS = NO EXTRA HP.
