yea im a hunter, none of my tats are level 5 yet, and ok, ill note those stats and ill boost em as soon as ive done with my tats

i think i got my head round this bad boy already, its my agility+perc vs the defeners agility+perc

right so i have 78 perc and 85 agility, thats a combat score of 162 unles im a total retard, so if i hit a melee with about 150 agility i should mangle them?
and noob god, i will end up spamming your inbox because ive come in way over my head here, 2 years devoted to the sniper path, and now im well confused LOL

im only level 51 atm.
with it being a combo of agility and perc, does that mean that i can go after a melee for example with 200 agility but only 40 perc, and if i have 100 agility and 80 perc i would be able to hit them almost overytime due to my supieriour perc or does it work on average? so an example would be
my agility = 100 defender agility 200
my perc 80 defender perc 40
average -60 on chance to hit stat = me getting raped
ive played 2 years as sniper over 3 accounts, ive played ranger for 6 hours, im soooooo confused LOL

ive just traded off my account and i now have a ranger, i took on a bit more than i can handle though i think because i know nothing about the build lol
could anyone answer any of these questions for me please??
what stat determines the chance to hit, agility or perception?
what stat increases damage strength or knowledge?
what sort of items should i use so i can be usefull in expos???
i know shuriken of reaction is the weapon to end all weapons for a ranger, but apart from that i havent got a clue what else i need
all advice would be greatly appreciated
