Thread: session points from clan arena |

Session points seems to be awarded at random as far as i can tell (both the amount of points awarded and who gets those points).
For some reason the clans i belong to on various servers hardly ever gets any session points (happened once in eight tries so far), two of thoose clans are pretty small and always gets defeated by bigger clans in the arena and those clans get both session points and the guaranteed 10 points for the winner, while my clans try every week to gain some gold and never get anything.
At first i thought session points was to be awarded to every clan, based on the number of applicants, which i would have found fair as even smaller clans would be able to gain some amount of gold even if they have the missfortune to face a 4x larger clan every single week, but obviously that's not the case.
Once i saw an arena report with 30+ players in one clan fighting a single player from another clan and that one player was able to get 4 session points.*
The only time i can recall that any of my clans gained session points we got 10 from 25-30 players applying.
While today my clan got beaten, we were 9 players, our opponents 19 and they got 24(!) session points*
Could anyone explain how this works? It feels like this system is based on BS instead of any kind of logic, or does every server have it's own system to determine who gets session points and how many they get?

necropolis probably closed the same moment it created report as well (21:20), it definately closed after 21:00 as i swapped headgear 21:10 from the one i used at 21:00 and this change appeared in my arena report at 21:20

If buildings, tattoo, items and arcana was disabled, then i guess every char would become a melee char, in which case it might be fun if strength, thoughness and agility worked as usual, while the other stats possibly got renamed and gave different/additional bonuses beneficial for melee combat, maybe something like:
Appearance: +10 hp regen per point each turn
Reputation: +1 maximum dmg per point
Charisma: +50 hp per point
Perception: +3 chance to hit per point
Intelligence: +1% crit chance per point
Knowledge: +1% dodge per point
this would hopefully give gunner/ranged chars a fair chance vs melee players and it might create some interresting battles

I'm pretty sure we've had this event once already (on 21.12.2012), it was called something like "end of days" and it sucked!
It could perhaps become interresting if arcana was removed as well, otherwise thoughtcatchers will have a huge disadvantage as all their arcana is dependent on buildings and horror will make cursed ones overpowered.

unless junk now costs 100-150 pop/piece, then i have for a fact been cheated
and that translation mistake seems to have cost me at least 300 junk pieces, as i junked ~2k items from my armory recently because until 48hrs ago it was certain that i would get a refund on the wasted lgo as soon as the patch came out..
i think it's really poor that it wasn't corrected weeks ago when people started asking about more info about the double junk value, instead of 48hrs before the patch release

What happened with "All junk currently in the game will be doubled" ?
It looks a lot more like all junk currently in game have been halved..
I'm not happy at all about this and i feel cheated as i guess the pop value of all my junk just lost 50% of it's value
I was Expecting the lgo value of my junk to be doubled without removing 50% of my junk as i had already spent 20k lgo per junk and wasted 50% of the lgo value for every junk bought, so now i have 50% less junk and have paid 40k lgo per piece.

"SMG" isn't a specific weapon, it's just an abbreviation of Submachine gun of which there is already three kinds in the game: Uzi, MP5K and Scorpio (Skorpion)
the same goes for "Assault Rifle" of which there is two kinds already: FN-Fal & AK-47
i have no idea what a MP 0.7 is supposed to be, but i doubt it's a real weapon
RPG could be a nice addition though

maybe they could have the souvenir shop permanent, but in order to collect a souvenir you have to spend 150 evo points, that way people will still have an incentive to continue ambushing even after they have maxed all their evolutions

If you still had that easiness bonus after 115% then the game would get very unbalanced and the Absorber would be very overpowered, especially Necropolis, where the Absorbers would be able to have at least 4 levels higher garrison/arm shop than everyone else while silence of blood could neutralize every other classes arcana (almost) completely (Cultists might be able to have a few levels searing left and Thoughtcatchers could probably have a few levels of mask of adonis/caligula left but that would be countered by the absorbers 10% hp bonus)
The most extreme example would be if an Absorber and cursed one fought, the absorber could easily block all the cursed ones arcana and probably absorb some of it as well or use a couple of extra levels of power of blood, then they would also have a 10% hp bonus (and on necro a +5 dmg bonus) and if that weren't enough then they would get additional hp bonuses from the higher leveled buildings that only absorbers would be able to reach

if you feel you lose your racial trait at higher levels, then why not change the racial trait from +5% easiness to "absorbers gain 1% easiness per level between levels 60-69" instead of 1% every two levels between 60-69, that way you don't have to make all other races worse just so yours can stay overpowered and you won't lose your racial bonus either
