Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
You were warned.
This ban is not set to expire.

RE: ban my forum account

First of all if you do not agree with the warning you should PM a supermod, if you then disagree with the smod, you should PM me. Creating such threads as this one serves nothing and only escalates the conflict.

HLL is the strongest clan in UW and BoS wasn't having that ...so they joined forces with DB ...point.blank.and the period.

HLL is the "bully" clan this month Tongue because they are now #3 ...no one likes being #3 when you know you're stronger than #2 and #1 but not #2 + #1

it has to be frustrating not to have the zone 1 square when you're better/stronger than the clan occupying it.

it's quite interesting how no one (except HLL maybe) thinks it's disgusting that an infamous clan leader and a peaceful clan leader decided to join forces against the "hero clan"

now the "hero clan" is taking better squares from the weak allies of their enemy(enemies) ...why? because BoS and DB have left them no choice.

it should be 1 clan vs 1 clan ...not 1 clan vs 2 clans + mercs + low-levels + traitors (if there are any)

if you can't defend your squares (with only your clan members), buy some stones and merge/upgrade better equipment ...fight your own battles/wars, earn the top spot Smile

yeah, i knew it was because of spam ...every wiki i use has spam (not like forum spam) ...but that's what system operators are for

don't know about you guys but i'd like to "visit" different clans (not their forums, because i'd have to register or probably won't even be given access lol), be able to chat with them on their talk pages, see how creative they are, read journals and be able to comment, etc

i just feel restricted on forums and i'll bet others feel the same way ...if a "debate" gets ugly or off-topic, the thread is closed ...that wouldn't happen on a wiki's talk page ...a user could delete the comments but you can look in history and continue the conversation on your own user talk page.

anyway, it's frustrating to click on reports and the links have been deleted ...there is a better way to save links and allow people who are interested 5 years later to see the first successful expo report on this server. some people like history ...*raises hand* i do Smile

i want to see the old siege reports between the 2007 clans ...i want to know who the historical clans were and why they were historical.

anyway, i'm rambling now, as i always do ...Devs if you read this, if you need a System Operator for your wiki to block spam bots, i'll do it. i know how to block ip proxy servers also.

I think I know why the Tutorial is "locked" ...but I want to help make the Tutorial better and more useful.

Tutorial (edits)...

Why can't the BW tutorial be this way?

I know it'll take ages to list each item (because there are thousands of items) and its' information (normal to perfect +5, legendary perfect).

Also, I'd like to edit my wiki page, add some templates and maybe a journal.

The in-game profile section is limited (words), i'd rather add a link to my wiki page in my in-game profile section instead if i could edit my wiki page.

I could also save reports online and add them all to my wiki page to record my progress and mistakes.

I just think wiki profiles/pages give you an unlimited/unrestricted amount of freedom. You can have your own Trophy Hall without people deeming your "achievements" unworthy of sharing.

Also, clans could have wiki pages with a list of their expo/siege reports, 1-on-1 ambush reports with their rivals/rival clans, etc

here's another quote:

Two Wrongs don't Make a Right

i admit, i don't know the "history" of DB vs BoS, BoS vs HLL, HLL vs DB

but i will say to HLL, maybe if you would've agreed to give back your "trophy" to BoS, they wouldn't have formed a mega-clan with DB, your common enemy once upon a time.

if i was BoS, i'd side with the enemy (DB) who did not take my squares as "trophies".
it's easier to forgive an arrogant "bully" who can't overpower you (take your squares) than to forgive a clan who takes your squares and forces you to ally with an arrogant bully.

i think HLL is/was playing BW the way it should be played ...besieging the top clan(s) and winning ...but when you back a top clan into a corner, what are they supposed to do ...thank you for beating them and invite you over for tea?

@HellDemon, then why don't the "neutral" members of HLL whisper in a few "neutral" BoS members' ears and find a way to make DB the enemy (again)?

clans have been torn apart before ...HLL can be the clan to tear apart BoS in 2012

are none of you in-game allies/friends of BoS members?

return so-n-so square in exchange for BoS to stop helping DB. then slaughter DB repeatedly or better yet, "steal" some of their "neutral" members and then slaughter them. i bet some DB members don't like how the clan operates. take advantage of that! put your pride to the side and sneak some of their members out of DB!

+1 (warning) for spam or whatever

edit:
oh, i shall explain the image...

i applaud HLL for besieging a "small clan" with a "big brother" as an ally.

if Russian Brotherhood is truly a DB ally, members of the mighty DB will leave to defend the RB square (because that's what a strong ally is supposed to do), thus making DB's squares vulnerable, and if BoS joins DB, BoS' squares will be vulnerable.

WARNING. if you know its spam, DO NOT POST!!

oh but it's no longer spam (the image) since i explained why i posted the image Wink but i accept the warning popeye, you're just "doing your job".

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Examples throughout history are common, such as longtime enemies Britain and France uniting against Germany during World War I

HLL, when you go around bragging about being tougher than a "bully" (DB), the "bully" will unite with your common enemy (BoS) to continue playing the way they enjoy playing.

now, what are you (HLL) going to do?

okay i'll mark changes in red color ...and i didn't omit, some things i don't know enough about to change (or some things didn't need changing), didn't mean to make it look like i was omitting anything.

i'd like for my version to be submitted on the wiki ...i also want to add in-game images on the wiki as well, such as each Race (both male and female), Buildings (both incomplete and complete), maybe images of a set (Runic) as an example on this page, also an image of a disposable item.

i also think links to this forum should be added on wiki pages, the expedition wiki page should have a link to the UW and Necro expo monsters threads ...the task wiki page should have a link to UW and Necro tasks threads ...etc

this way if people don't visit the forum often, but do use the wiki, they can be linked back here

i've been using another wiki to edit for the page codes ...would it be better to send those via e-mail to be revised by a wiki mod rather than add my edits here?

edit:
most edits are only re-wording, should i highlight everything?

http://wiki.bloodwars.net/index.php?title=Quests

Quests

Quests Difficulty

Underworld:
Vicinity of the City (easy quests) – normal or slightly upgraded items
Far Journeys (normal quests) – slightly upgraded items
Pilgrimages into the Wastelands (hard quests) – considerably upgraded items

Necropolis:
Vicinity of the City (easy quests) – normal items
Far Journeys (normal quests) – normal and good items
Pilgrimages into the Wastelands (hard quests) normal, good and perfect items

You must complete all nine (9) easy quests before you unlock all nine (9) normal quests.
You must complete all normal quests before you unlock the first hard quest (agility).
Hard quests must be completed in a predetermined sequence.
In Act I, you must complete all nine (9) hard quests in the order listed below.

Sequence of hard quests
• Agility
• Appearance
• Toughness
• Charisma
• Reputation
• Perception
• Strength
• Knowledge
• Intelligence

Quests are randomly assigned and may be completed in any order with the exception of hard quests in which order of quests is essential.
If you complete all hard quests, you will be able to do them in any sequence.

Chance of Success

Chance of success depends on 3 factors:
1. Character level
1.1. Every time you level up, your chance decreases -5% (easy), -3% (normal), -1% (hard)

2. Tested parameter (related to experience level)

3. Luck
3.1 Every 5 Luck adds +3 (easy), +2 (normal), +1 (hard)
3.2 50 Luck would add +30 (easy), +20 (normal), +10 (hard)

Maximum chance of success:
1. Easy quests: 90%
2. Normal quests: 80%
3. Hard quests: 70%

Chance of success may be increased by:
- Items (which may also decrease chance)
- 3 random parameters gained for each even level (2, 4, 6,8, etc)
- Points of progress (Pop)

Quest % calculation ...this thread confirms chance of success drops each time you level

edit: i copied this from the Act II page to use for the Quests page (Act I)

Vicinity of the City

Maximum chance of success = 90%
1 stat point = +5% success
5 luck = +3% success
Duration = 300 seconds without the shortening / 100 seconds with the shortening
Quality of drop = Normal
Number of dropped items = One
Level up = -5%

with this, i can remove 1.1, 3.1 and 3.2 and the entire maximum chance of success section

http://wiki.bloodwars.net/index.php?title=Parameters

Parameters

STRENGTH
Increases damage of melee and certain ranged weapons, and also allows you to equip heavy items

AGILITY
Influences chance to hit with melee and ranged weapons (in case of ranged, agility is combined with perception), and also allows you to dodge strikes.
Higher agility allows you to strike first during a siege
- (if your agility is higher than your opponent’s agility, other factors, such as luck and chance to hit, influence this also)

TOUGHNESS
Melee weapon damage is decreased by 50% of Toughness + Defense
Gun damage is decreased by 50% of Toughness
Ranged weapon damage is decreased by 25% of Toughness + Defense

APPEARANCE
Only required to construct certain buildings and to equip items

CHARISMA
Helps in defense (increases HP if you’ve built the Police Station and Garrison) against spies and ambushes

REPUTATION
A measure of your knowledge of the underworld and ability to “influence” people's decisions
Crucial for a successful espionage and helps during an ambush on a neighbor (increases HP if you’ve built the Bodyguard Agency and Arm Shop)

PERCEPTION
Helps to avoid an ambush, shoot guns more accurately and dodge bullets.
Higher perception allows you to strike first during a siege
- (if your perception is higher than your opponent’s perception, other factors, such as luck and chance to hit, influence this also)

INTELLIGENCE
Required to construct certain buildings and to equip powerful weapons

KNOWLEDGE
Required to construct certain buildings and to equip items
Gun damage is increased by 1/3 of Knowledge
3 Knowledge = +1 gun damage
9 Knowledge = +3 gun damage
27 Knowledge = +9 gun damage
81 Knowledge = +27 gun damage

question about Strength and Ranged weapons: does strength increase damage for all ranged weapons or certain suffixes (added in Effects)?

http://wiki.bloodwars.net/index.php?title=Expeditions

since regular users can't edit the tutorial, i'm posting my edits to this thread.
please allow multi-posting for each Tutorial page I add edits for, thanks.

i'm not sure how Act III effects expo mobs (if a player is above max optimal level, the opponent is 10% stronger per player level?)

and someone was telling me that in Act II, if you're below/above the optimal level, you gain exp (which is true), but 10% is deducted per level ...is this accurate?

do you only gain divided exp from HP and no player level bonus?

example: Red Dragon's 5000 HP divided among a 3-member team = 1666 exp each, level 70 player receives 1666 exp but not 700 exp because player is over optimal level of 63. is this how it works?

this is the part i'm asking about :
Character level modifiers. Each opponent has a level cap beyond which players gain less experience points. For every character's level that is: lower or higher (on Necropolis type realms) higher (on Underworld type realms) than the limit the character gains 10% xp less.

oh and i spell organize with a z and honor without an u, that can be corrected, but my spell checker flags organise and honour

Expeditions (Expo) ...my edited version

Organizing an expedition:

1. You must be a member of a clan

2. You may join only one (1) expedition per day (between 00:00 and 23:59)
2.1. You cannot start an expedition until the expedition you’ve joined finishes.

3. You may start only one expedition every two (2) days
3.1. You cannot join an expedition until the expedition you’ve started finishes.

4. You must use honor points and people (resource) to start an expedition.
4.1. For each clan member who applies you must pay:
4.1.1. Number of honor points = player’s level
4.1.2. Number of people (resource) = player’s level * 50

5. Any clan member may apply to join an expedition, but only the expedition organizer can accept, decline or ignore applicants.

6. You must select or choose to use arcana before you start and join an expedition.
6.1. Blood (if you selected arcana) will be returned if your application is declined/ignored by the expedition organizer.

7. More than one (1) expedition may be started in one (1) clan every day.

Locations:

1. There are 17 locations.
1.1. There are 1 – 3 types of opponents (normal, difficult, extremely difficult)

2. Each location has a (permanent) maximum number of teams that may enter.
2.1. The maximum amount of teams that may enter a location is determined by how many opponents are in a location.
3.1. If there are 20 opponents inside, only 20 teams may enter. If another team wants to enter a location, the team must wait until a team fails or resurrect additional opponents.

4. Each opponent has (not entirely) random stats (parameters) depending on its' level.

5. Each opponent has special attacks which may be activated in certain circumstances.
5.1. example: if a opponent’s HP is less than 50%, it may use special attacks, but it may also decide not to use special attacks.

Rewards for the expo leader:

1. If you (solo) or your team defeats a beast, you receive a random item.
1.1. Depending on the opponent, you may get a random item with a random prefix and/or suffix. These items will always have a magical property (except for guns and ranged weapons which may only have a suffix).
1.2. The more powerful the opponent, the higher the item’s quality (good, perfect, legendary good/perfect)

2. In Underworld, a defeated beast may also drop stones (more and better stones for more difficult opponents)

3. If the expo leader strikes the death blow, he/she receives a badge/medal, opens the next location, and ignores 10% of the defeated opponent’s defense in future expeditions.
3.1. Each vampire may only possess 17 badges (you won’t receive another badge for defeating a beast more than once).

Experience:

1. Gained experience depends on a beast’s HP
1.1. If a White Dragon has 1000 HP, 1000 exp is divided among an expo team
1.2. 2-member team gets 500 exp each
1.3. 3-member team gets 333 exp each
1.4. 4-member team gets 250 exp each

2. Gained experience depends on player level
2.1. Level 20 * 10 = 200 exp
2.2. Level 40 * 10 = 400 exp
2.3. Level 80 * 10 = 800 exp

3. Leader bonus is doubled
3.1. Level 20 * 10 * 2 = 400 exp
3.2. Level 40 * 10 * 2 = 800 exp
3.3. Level 80 * 10 * 2 = 1600 exp

also stumbled upon this: BWTeam Studio

why don't you (the BWteam) upload more videos?

if either of these links have been posted in the back, back days, search found no results (i searched dusia911's youtube name on the forum)

edit:
Oo there's a Blood Wars Cheat Tool Red 2012 [Blood][Money][People] Gnerator [Lgo] video on youtube as well, e-mail the Devs to have it flagged and removed from youtube (because it's supposedly a hack video). edit: final draft

i want to take out "5 servers and 5 races" or name each server and race like i had before the edit...

but if the goal is to attract more players to the UK server (not the entire game), i shouldn't mention the servers at all...

and it's weird how the ad shouldn't be too wordy (short and simple) but you want to emphasize reading a plethora of information lol

if people won't read a long ad, they won't read the regulations/tutorial/forum threads

i actually just read the Game Introduction a minute ago for the first time...

BloodWars is a free MMORPG game, available only on-line.

To begin playing you need only an average computer, up-to-date browser and internet connection.

In the game you incarnate one of thousands of warriors struggling for dominance in the last city on Earth.

As a vampire you wander across wastelands seeking ancient artefacts and fight with other members of vampiric kind in the RPG world.

We are planning to create other free games even this year so everyone will have a chance to compete in the world of their dreams.
Features

5 unique races with various vampiric powers called Arcana
each race possesses 10 unique paths of progress in the form of tattoos
dynamic character development system
system of tasks adapting to character level
unique option to do quests and discover the surrounding world
possibility to create and develop a clan
clan armoury available for the best clans
5 various city districts called the zones
possibility to build up your territory (square) with buildings available in each zone
possibility to besiege other players in order to take over their squares
clan sieges with more than 60 fighters at the same time!!
77 basic items
143 item prefixes
149 item suffixes
about 22918 various items to find
each has 18! levels of quality
so all in all 412524 unique items!!!
unique sets of jewellery and armour to collect
30 various disposable items
trade through auctions
clan events allowing to challenge mythical monsters of vampiric world

And all this organised in a dynamic MMORPG environment, gathering thousands of player at the same time on the same server.
Fascinating story that reveals secrets of the vampiric Underworld as your character develops.
Online help available through forum or interactive tutorial.

Coming soon:

tournament with valuable prizes
sector events allowing you to fight with wandering monsters

imo, i think this piece of the Game Introduction should be on other websites to promote BW, instead of expecting to read the Introduction, Regulations and Tutorial from the homepage...

the more you know before you get to the game (the homepage), the chance you'll have your mind made up if you want to play or not...

good idea but too many words (there isn't a limit but the Sysops may want the ad to be short and simple)

i have added a direct link to the premium page above the tutorial link.

will also add (in bold):

IMPORTANT: Read the game regulations and tutorial before you play. Visit the forum as you quest and ambush other vampires.

good or bad idea (the IMPORTANT) part?

All of you are posting rants, but I don’t see any suggestions from any of you…except suggesting that I shut up.

What are your suggestions to revive this dying server?

Have you made any suggestions to:
A. Attract new players?
B. Help new players (who aren’t as patient as you) enjoy the game?
C. Help small clans (who don’t want to “call for help” from bigger clans) protect their squares?

Have you invited any of your old and new friends to play and helped them grow?

Did you try to convince them to stay after they quit?

Have you put as much effort into promoting this game as you have put into destroying this game?

Unfortunately, you “happy players” (players who adapt to the playing style of other players or think the way they play is fair) make up less than 1% of the server (including vacant and deleted accounts).

Most players don’t like this game because of other players…

I’ve angered a few people (in-game, forum doesn’t matter) and several people have angered me… so what does any decent human do to resolve the situation? Compromise!

Don’t bother players who don’t want to be bothered.

Yes, this is supposed to be a PvP game, but as I said earlier, it’s played like a treasure hunt/monster hunt game.

If players don’t want to be besieged, leave them alone (if they ask you to call off a siege).

The player base may grow if new players and small clans are allowed to grow.

Allowing growth = more fair competition, more players asking their friends to play and join their clans

Prohibiting growth = more vacant accounts, no new players

edited by my wife again to remove explicit words and random thoughts that have nothing to do with this topic

quote:
i really do hope that no ones takes 99.98% of your threads/posts/ideas seriously, because you make it plain to see if you had any sort of input as to how the game should be managed, it would be dead in 3 months

yes because all of you who are top 1-100 will quit, but if you stop thinking you're more important to this server because you've stayed than the players who have quit, the server wouldn't be in the state it's in now...

why don't all of you leave this server and play on the thriving servers (only)?

there is always a reason to ambush/siege players/clans you can easily beat:
for PoH at one point and now for Evo

but when they quit (delete their characters) who will you ambush then when the only players worth ambushing are the players you can't beat and you're the weakest vampire active?

of course you won't whine, you'll roll with the punches because you've adapted to this dog eat dog game

and just so you guys know, my squares have never been taken (because they were crappy) and i've never been low on resources (except for a few days after posting on this forum), so i'm not angry at anyone

Facebook Parenting: For the troubled teen.

i could've combined this with the other thread i started, but the videos are not related at all ...and they also don't belong in LOL Youtube Vids, imo...

anyway, this video is about a mad dad who reads a FB message his 15 year old daughter posted ...and then he murders her laptop...

do you think his actions were overboard (extreme)?

my answer is yes, his actions were extreme...

why? because teenagers do not like their parents, chores, discipline, etc

i'm 19 ...i moved out and to the opposite side of the U.S. to get away from my parents 2 years ago because i don't like them...

what parents fail to understand (as if they don't remember being teenagers) is how much teenagers hate being told what and what not to do... even though sometimes it's for their (the teen's) own good

i watched a tv show about kids who kill ...1 guy shot his parents because they took away a video game ...his mom died but his dad didn't

kids have become electronic addicts ...they're addicted to their phones, video games, computers, televisions, etc

what happens when you punish an addict or refuse to give an addict what he/she wants? they spaz out!

now, if this dad's daughter runs away and gets murdered, that will be his burden to bare for the rest of his life... all because she posted a disrespectful message on facebook

in that case, the BW team needs to establish a better forum and tutorial

...the forum is sloppy and the tutorial lacks information

...someone needs to transfer all of the correct & complete information from the forum to the tutorial

Firefighters vs Cops: Striking fire officers soak PM office in Brussels

is this current? what's going in Brussels?

if it's anything like what's going on here (in the U.S., Republican governors are getting rid of unions in the few states that have unions), 2012 is going to be a year of despair!

edit:
i don't bother reading youtube comments or video descriptions, but i'll copy the description for the video link above...
Several hundred firefighters have broken through police lines and hosed down the prime minister's office in Brussels to protest the government's tougher retirement plans. Firefighters demand to keep their early retirement age at 58, arguing their arduous job does not allow them to work into their sixties.

early retirement age here (in U.S.) is 67 for anyone under 55 years of age ...so imo, 58 is worth fighting for if you've worked (blue-collar workers) all of your life. unfortunately, the white-collar workers decide when your body deserves early retirement, the very people who could probably retire at 35...

all right Ghaldria, i see your POV ...you're an "old dog" as we'd call you in my neck of the woods ...but remember when you were a new player? when you first joined a clan or created your clan? if you think this server is as exciting as it was when you started, you're delusional ...and i wasn't even around then, but even this forum was more exciting when this server opened up. why can't you guys do something about the lack of excitement?

seems like this game, or server, is lacking excitement because of the lack of players or the lack of opponents (who will fight fair) ...if i knew polish i'd definitely visit the polish forum just to look at siege and expo reports

someone start a siege against me ...1 on 1

http://r2.bloodwars.net/?a=msg&do=view&mid=21061577

is there a thread for this? where we can set up a "poh" siege?

ha ha Grevenet, yes keep that attitude, drive more players away

you're satisfied with how the server is but others are not... but unlike me, they don't speak, they quit playing ...some may post good-bye threads, but those are usually the players who made this forum part of the game

some things i didn't understand about your reply

quote:
I wouldn't join a clan who makes such limitation . If I'm sometimes left aside, it's not an issue . I was very low in Moria FR1 with a former account and yet I was rewarded with a bigger account for my patience and willingess to sweat and bleeding WITHOUT any moaning . The clan where I am is welcoming everyone as long as they are active enough and volunteering . How to blame them to do Expos/Arenas within their bracket level often ? Other times everyone can apply, and so not much people complains . Democratic .

Sieges are sometimes won by point/level gaps, it's always part of, eliminating the unequal sieges would make it disappear as a game as it's not " democratic " . I haven't the same view of such word .

i didn't say anything about being left out...
and yes, sieges are often (not sometimes) won by point/level gaps ...but when the gap is so wide that the defender had no chance to win at all, that's called "unfair".
some of these clans can win with their bare hands, let's face it... they're stronger than a few of the expo monsters

the only people who agree with big clan vs small clan are the players like you who "adapt" to the way other players play...

i'd rather see new siege reports where a group of act 2 players fight it out without act 3 players joining to "ensure a win" ...but that's what the clans do...and too many of you have accepted that style of play

quote:
It's not because clans could split that player base will grow . Concentration of big players is always part of game and splitting them won't evade dictatorial domination and automatic alliances . In Moria 1 FR, I am part of an alliance which controls 70 percent of the top 50, and controlling the ranks 1, 2, 3 and 5 . Splitting them would not make them fighting each other nor helping lower levels . They could get enraged by your idea and might end wanting to " butcher " militarily . Again, more harm than good . What you want can only be achieved by gentlemen agreements . Hard to find .

this is not about the player base, that's my other thread ...this is about more clans really, but more importantly about more clans of equal points.
3 big, strong clans of 45+ members ...break those down into 9 clans of 15 members and you'll have more (fair) sieges ...but of course they won't fight each other because this is not a game of war, it's a game of friendship ..."i can't attack her because she's my 'mate' in real life, we go to the pub every weekend" ...wtf does that have to do with blood wars? if you aren't in my (15-member) clan, you are my enemy if you're at my points level... separate the game from your real life

Active Players, what can we do... 02-10-2012 06:06 Forum: Mishmash

Devs/Mods, before you close this thread, please understand I am trying to start a discussion about ways the players can make this server (particularly Necropolis) better.
In this original post, I am only giving my opinion of an important and logical suggestion that was ignored/disliked by the Devs and the players for 3 years…
I know, to most, that should let me know not to discuss it on this forum, but if you will allow me to give my opinion and receive (negative & positive) feedback, I’ll try to come up with a different idea, and maybe other people will too.

And to be clear, I am not suggesting the Devs tweak the game at all.
I know each patch is applied to each server; therefore this suggestion should not be in any patch.

Is Blood Wars (the UK server) really the MMORPG you signed up for (is it what you expected/envisioned it to be)?

The UK server is basically a treasure hunt (quest) / monster hunt (expedition) game with little PvP, Clan vs. Clan action.
Most of us ambush/siege inactive players (to avoid retaliation).
Why? No one wants to win an ambush and resources, then lose those resources.
And since when is farming vacant accounts considered PvP?

I am not asking for clan sieges (where a significantly higher-points clan overtakes squares of a lower-points clan for the fun of it).

When you (if you…) read the Blood Wars game description, did you imagine yourself playing alone (doing quests and/or ambushing vacant accounts), after you joined a clan, 6 days a week without starting/joining an expedition / a siege?

My suggestion is very similar to Gendibal's (find him in Members and read his 2007 – 2010 posts) suggestion of a clan points cap.

I propose a 15-member clan limit (not limited by the game, only by the clan leaders who prefer to start 3+ expos daily and sieges) to have smaller, active clans with different clan points/levels.

Sieges would basically be won by equipment and not point/level differences.
I have no proof, but I believe two level 80 players can crush ten level 40 players (because level 80 has more HP, better gear, more blood points, etc) in a siege
…so even if points match, experience doesn’t.
If we can eliminate the elephant vs ant sieges, we may be able to have unpredictable (fair) sieges…

Back to my idea…clans consist of 15 members, could be sorted by levels:
- 15 level 75+ members
- 15 level 60-75 members
- 15 level 50-60 members
- 15 below level 50 members
or sort however you choose, could be sorted by friendships, etc

As far as clan items go, well I don’t know how that could be sorted...
I’d rather be in a clan with better expo/siege gear than better luck gear, especially since I’m an Absorber with Power of Blood.

Anyway, I know my suggestion is pretty bad, but if the player base doesn’t grow and continues to decrease, I think clans should split.
Offline and in-game friends shouldn’t “unfriend” each other because of an ambush …eliminate alliances too to open up the playing field
ambushing your friend is not serious enough to be considered betrayal...
If my friend (of equal points) attacks me using his own gear and wins, that's fair & fun imo...

a bit off-topic but will try to tie it in...
i read Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell in high school, and what i thought was unique were the wars between the 3 superstates: Eurasia, Oceania, Eastasia...
They switched alliances during each war... Eurasia and Oceania would fight against Eastasia, then Eurasia and Eastasia would fight against Oceania, then Oceania and Eastasia would fight against Eurasia...

That may seem boring to some, but I've never understood how besieging smaller clans is fun (just like besieging a vacant account is not fun, you're waiting on the timer to Finish, that's all)... you take a square without putting in any effort... so why not compete against clans within your points range so it'll be a nail-biting event?

if clans split, there would be more targets (in your points range, not how the game does it).

i think a lot of you would rather play until you're bored, let the server die, then quit instead of try to help increase the active player base...
you don't see any problems because you don't care...
but when someone like me complains, you see me as a problem because i'm not nonchalant and indifferent like you are...
i prefer to speak my mind before i get bored rather than wait until i'm bored and on the brink of quitting...

opinions?
suggestions?

and yes, this belongs in MishMash because it's about this server (more importantly, the players who make or break this server).

edit:
i was so off about two level 80 players vs ten level 40 players
check this out (from 2010): Nndungu (*) vs 15...
and that is why sieges aren't fun, although i'm sure that was a "mock" siege, not sure...

Also, i've been shown a few old threads about poh (points of honor) sieges...
my suggestion stems from a lack of ("fun") sieges ...not for poh

something else i didn't mention...
sieges should be based on Act...
Act 3 players vs. Act 3 players
Act 2 players vs Act 2 players
Act 1 players vs Act 1 players

Act 2 arcanas give an advantage over Act 1 players
Act 3 evo/enchantments give an advantage over Act 2 and 1 players
so this is also why it'd be a good idea to sort clans by level (for siege purposes)

and if a clan has 45 members of Act 2 and 3, break it down to 3 clans of 15, maybe a mixture of levels, and siege each other, post reports on the board ...those section have been lacking reports anyway

yep, i still agree with you demon...

a "buddy system" sounds a bit childish (?) ...i don't know the word i'm looking for

but yeah, a buddy system would be awesome

it kind of sucks to have to talk to people who don't play BW about the game because they can't give me feedback or say "we all want to murder the RNG"

so yeah, again, a buddy system would be awesome

this is a player "project", nothing to do with the Devs guys

Of course there are other reasons why new players don't stay, but I believe this is one of the main ones.

I dont think there is 500 hundred active players on necro either, I'd be interested to know the actual figure but I would guess it is less than 200 now.

Anyway Ive gone off track, my main reason for posting here was to say that mentoring is a good idea, I just dont think its enough to save these servers.

well, i assume a lot of players quit because this is a slow-paced game...

i know 1 (minor) reason why i deleted my character was because i wanted to do more quests/attacks...so i restarted just to have full quests/attacks & 3 days of premium

even with 3 days of premium, if you like this game, you want to play, not wait...

i didn't come to the forum until i was level ~35 ...had i come, i would've been a totally different player and had a different character (a cultist), but most games i play don't have forums like this... their forums are boring ...so i can understand why newbies don't visit the forum because they may think it's just another boring forum

oh and i'd also like to know how many active players on each server

i play a game where there's a stats page and also a profile database... updates every hour i believe, been online since 2005... and only 1 guy runs the game

this is going to be a bit off-topic from this thread, but i'll try to tie it into the "theme" of my suggestion...

i agree with you Ichor, most newbies probably don't visit the forum before they quit. but for the few that do, we should come up with a solution to keep those new players in the game on this server, whether in Underworld or Necropolis...

the more that i play Underworld, the more I understand without reading any "words of advice" yet...

but in Necropolis, well it's a bit more challenging imo, and i won't go into details of why...

i don't think the answer is introducing a new server or realm...

~1000 active in UW, ~500 active in Necro and a mixture of players from both realms in the new realm ...but no new players.

and i really wish some of you would stop thinking people quit because the top players are miles ahead...

that's not why new players quit or new people don't bother playing...

i think a small minority of players actually believe they can "catch up"...

new players compete with other players at their level, and they understand that...

this i agree with but this is taking "mentoring" a step above my basic suggestion...

do lower-level player of a clan need highe- level players help? yes

but if say a higher-level player doesn't want to join a WD expo, they can at least offer good advice, maybe some gear and suggest who to ask to join the WD expo (a mid-range player)...

it's not always about sacrificing your "join" for a lower-level's expo...

i have not once asked the Developers to change the game...

i've asked the players to change their attitudes and help new players...

where have i complained about the game?

most, if not all, of my complaints are about this forum (the forum users)...

the game is not difficult, but it is complex...

and if anyone wants new players to stay and play, people need to lend a hand.

if you don't care about the server population, why post on this thread?

if you don't support the idea of mentoring new players, you're part of the reason why this server lacks players...

i don't know how new players on other servers are treated, but there are different strokes for different folks...

as i said, where i'm from, people are dependent on "the system"...

the system being other players or the Developers in this case...

i can't persuade the people i know to play if no one is going to help them on a daily basis...

and as i said, i can't help them because i am an inexperienced newb.

edit 1:
and i moan a lot because of the players, not because of the game...

i prefer to give people answers first, but it's still their choice to listen or make mistakes...

if i tell a newbie to use gunner gear for a White Dragon expo, and they choose to use melee, i've did my part by offering them the right advice...

that's all i'm asking more people to do...

whether they ask for your advice (or not) and equip the right gear is their choice, but when they lose and quit, at least you know you tried to help and they quit because of their wrong decision.

edit 2:
was sent a link... Suggestion: We need new players

the suggestions in that thread were game changing suggestions like:

make the old market/trading & clan armoury available at lower levels instead of levels 15 & 25

my suggestion is more basic...

give newbies the option of finding an adviser on this forum

how many new players look for a clan to join immediately?

the first thing a newbie probably thinks about is "how do i play this game?" not "which clan should i apply for?"

and as many of you have said, levels 1 - 20 are boring, so a newbie really needs someone to talk to (about the game) more than anything else, even more than they need a clan, because they can't trade or use clan armoury items anyway...

and if you look through the Clan List, you'll see inactive clans because a lot of clan leaders (below level 25 or at the minimum level to start a clan) quit, therefore the clan members probably quit because their leader quit...

and a clan of all low levels/new players probably won't stay around long because they can't work together as a clan, can't trade, probably don't know enough about the game to mentor each other, etc...

so the bottom line of my "essays" is new players should have a mentor/adviser in-game immediately if they choose to find one on this forum.

edit 3:
advisers don't have to "spoil" the game by writing out a guide, just answer any questions, simple questions like "i have 500 pop, which stat(s) should i train?"

no one wants to constantly see those basic questions in Words of Advice from a bunch of newbies. questions like that should be asked in-game, messenger or chat.

because new players are lazy obviously (or "unsmart") and don't like complex games...

and you earned what you have when the game was new...

this game is not new anymore...

it's not new to new players because they can see people have been playing for years...

and as i said, i am not suggesting make the game simple (or easy) for new players...

i'm suggesting players helping other players...

advise them...

don't let new players mess up because they won't continue to play...

i never said the game is imbalanced or unfair....never said that...

i have not complained about the game at all (have i? don't remember...)

this game is complex ...there's much to learn...

but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable...

but in order to find joy, you have to know what you're doing (unless you enjoy failing...)

and you can read every guide about this game posted on this forum, and still not know everything...

i know, wisdom comes from experience ...but if it takes a month to learn (without help from anyone), some newbies won't last that long

there should be one of those forms with questions about the game...

"will you recommend Blood Wars to a friend? if yes, why? if no, why?"

ya know, with the "customer services" type questions lol

send it to the account e-mail when someone hasn't logged in for 2 weeks (likely the quitters)...

edit 1:
good word my wife used: Adviser, like someone you go to each semester in college when you're lost or frustrated, ya know...

edit 2:
i'm not trying to bring politics into this conversation, just want to explain my POV...

i'm 100% Democrat (think you guys call us Socialists/Communists?), so i believe in helping others, even if those "others" are able to help themselves if they just stopped being lazy...

but i will help anyone or advocate helping others, even in a free online game...

i don't want this server to "die" anytime soon, i enjoy playing...

but if we, the players, don't get more people playing, this server will die soon...

so we need to find new ways to make this game more attractive to all demographics...

i'd let my 7 year old step-son play if he was a computer kid...but he enjoys sports...

"we worked hard, so you guys should work hard"...

we still have to work hard...

we still have to put in hours of work to be efficient...

the problem is understanding how to be efficient...

but the information is on 100+ different webpages...

all quest info should be on 1 page...

all expo info should be on 1 page...

all cultist info should be on 1 page...

this would at least help new players "study" in chapters, vs searching and finding bits & pieces of what they need to learn...

thank you for your replies...

you guys (those who replied) seem to be the type of player who learn how to play games on your own...

but there are other people who need/want help, a teacher/mentor/guide...

everyone does not want to learn on their own, and all i'm saying is start a mentor program...

give newbies the option to click on the forum link, easily find the Mentor Section and message a volunteer/mentor in-game...

i don't know any Polish, French, Russian or TR (what's TR?) people irl...

so i don't know how independent/dependent you guys are irl...

but where i'm from, the U.S., a large percent of our population is very dependent...

we're spoiled brats...

which is not a good thing, but it is what it is...

i do know people from the UK (and Canada which is like the UK imo) and they call us "welfare babies" ...lol

anyway, back on topic here...

i'm suggesting mentors because of my experience with people who have quit or seen me play and don't want to play...

and i can't help them because i'm still an inexperienced newb...

i can't promote this game if i have to tell people to register on the forum to ask for help, to search for all the answers on the forum, or figure everything out on their own...

my generation (under 21 years old) in the U.S. are accustomed to easy/simple games (which i stated earlier i am not suggesting making the game simple)...

so if a game is too complex, the least you guys can offer is a Mentor Program to help push the "dependent" players to level 40 quickly so they'll stay and play...

you guys know expeditions (and now king of the hill) are the most exciting part of this game, especially for lower levels (35+)...

so why not have a group of individuals available to "school" new players?

edit 1:
and i'm sure people want to contact people of their same race...

it's cool to be in a clan and have them help you, but it can also be difficult because of time zones...

and the only person available when you're online could be someone who knows nothing about your race, your preferred set up, or don't know what they're doing either lol (not talking about anyone in ADX Tongue )

yeah so, having people on the forum available would be helpful for newbies pre-clan or in a clan but online when no one experienced is online...

edit 2:
i just checked the clan list (UW) and the 2 newest clans (Homeless Lion Cubs and the English army) have banned clan leaders (Tampax and chucky)...

the English army has 6 members, i can't see who because i don't have premium yet...

so ahh how much you want to bet 4 of those 6 members are going to quit soon (if they don't leave that clan and join another)?

you high-level players need to be more pro-active...

instead waiting for new players to ask for help, why don't you take the initiative lend a hand?

and that's why this server (and game) lacks players (compared to other servers and other games)...

"search for information yourself"

where is the guide (a real person, not that in-game person in the tutorial) on day 1 of logging into a new game?

on a forum with tons of threads and scattered information.

a lot of "gamers" depend on the social interacts to learn how to play a game...

only anti-social loners read tons of threads, manuals, etc

the "Guides for Beginners" are not very helpful.

what's the most important information a newbie needs at level 1?

how to use their 1000 points of progress

...but advice is different for each Race, correct?

well, maybe not so much in the beginning, but later on, the choices you made between levels 1 - 20 will effect how you build your character (or should build your character).

poll the forum asking: how many of you restarted once, twice, or more?

of course, the Polish server players probably never restarted because they had previous "practice" on the first server

...and where are they? at the top of the leader boards...

newbies need a mentor to give them advice on a daily basis...

and as i said, this forum does not provide in-depth advice (for each Race and individual vampires) unless you're willing to spend hours searching, reading and piecing together tips from different threads ...which is solely based on perception of what you're reading (or learning), not based on knowledge (which a mentor provides ...knowledge).

edit:
also, newbies need someone to ask which items to keep...
imagine having a slew of newbies posting in Evalutions everyday...
what you higher level players consider junk is not junk to newbies...
so mentors could at least help them evaluate items for levels 1 - 40.
and if this game/server ever attracts more players, evaluations will become outdated fast...
so it's not wise for newbies to Search the eval threads for approximate prices...
that's very bad advice!
certain items may not be "rare" anymore because there are more Act 2 and 3 players than Act 1 players
...so to newbies, a normal Tiger's set could be worth 5x as much as it is to the people evaluating sets and such.
be mindful of newbies instead of yourselves...
at level 20, Tiger`s : chance for critical hit +14 %, dodge melee +12 %
that could be an awesome bonus against levels 17-23 and worth 5000 pop (or however many stones a normal Tiger's set would be at level 20).

edit:
Shirt of Speed
Armour
Defence: 2
Effects: additional 2 attacks with every weapon, chance for critical hit with guns -40 %
Requirements: LEVEL: 30, STRENGTH: 25
Selling price: 62 900 Lgo

^ that item does not look "valuable" ...meh "additional 2 attacks with every weapon" but "chance for critical hit with guns -40" ...well if a newbie prefers to use guns, why would they keep a shirt of speed or even think to trade/auction it? if it's not worth squat to them, what would make them think it's worth A LOT to melee users ...melee users who are their opponents by the way?

this is where a mentor would help them understand item value based on various builds...

someone could say "search evaluations before you sell anything (in Shop)"

but honestly, how many people/newbies search the evaluation threads for every single item they find?

i'll bet most people sold something in the Shop that was worth many stones or pop...

...side-tracked

anyway, work on the wiki Tutorial (or Manual as some call it)...

i can't mention the name of an online game that i play because it's against the rules, but their wiki tutorial is awesome
...describes each class (scientist, civilian, military, zombie) and has guides for each class written by different players
...there are also guides on how to build a group (clan), how to be a Player Killer, Bounty Hunter, Death Cultist, and several other role-playing characters within your class

why doesn't BW wiki tutorial have that?

you click Races and this is all you get:

Thoughtcatcher
This race originates from Italy where they, thanks to abilities to rig the world of politics and business, created an empire obliterated during the Third World War.
Arcana specialization: Manipulations Racial trait: Underworld: Luck +10 Necropolis: Luck +10, +10% dodge against all weapons

it doesn't offer any tips on how to play as a Thoughtcatcher.

i know some new players want to know more details
...some like the mystery, like to learn as they play (they shouldn't click Tutorial anyway)
...but a significant amount of new players want a one-stop shop (well-written tutorial).

how many newbies know as they level, the chance to successfully pass a quest decreases?

Chance of success
Your chance of successful quests depends on:
character's level,

luck.
Quests' difficulty adjusts to character's level, which prevents situations, when all quests are too easy for you.

WHEN does it adjust? each level?
every 5 levels (5, 10, 15, 20, etc)?
and what the heck does "which prevents situations" mean?

Quest % calculation question

^ the information in that thread (if it's accurate) should be on the wiki tutorial...
not just this --> "Quests' difficulty adjusts to character's level..."

either some of you knowledgeable players should enhance the wiki tutorial since the Devs aren't doing it, or open a Mentor Program on the forum.

why are there so many 1 pointers?
why have many 100+ pointers quit?
what makes the Polish server/forum "better" than the UK server/forum?

i checked out the Polish forum last week, saw ~50 people logged in, maybe more ...the Devs are active there too ...why aren't the Devs active here?
because of the low player base...
how do we recruit more players?
how do we ensure 75% of those players stay to help this server grow?

i don't know what the "good ol' days" were like, i'm sure a lot of players quit because of how other players played the game...
and that's what we can't allow to happen again, if the player base increases magically...
don't scare new players away with brutal in-game tactics...
war game or not, players are people with feelings, and sore losers quit.

obviously there are players who want to help, but new players won't know that if they visit the forum and don't know where to go to ask for in-game advice
...Words of Advice is cool, but as I said, having a mentor is more convenient.

points in this post/rant:
1. Enhance the wiki tutorial
2. Mentor new players
3. Explain the rules/regulations with examples

i deleted point 3 but here it is...

Pushing and Pulling is objective

if a new player wants a regular Tiger's set and has 10 soulstones or 10,000 points of progress to offer a seller, the buyer/seller shouldn't be banned for pushing/pulling
Actually, i don't know how much sets are worth in UW or Necro...and i'm sure newbies don't either ...so pushing/pulling should only apply to multiaccounts.

Punishment list

Pushing - moving items/points to other account 'for free' (i.e. items from a to-be deleted accounta)

d. Push - situation defined in subsections from a to c when a party that benefits is a player higher in the ranking.
e. Pull - situation defined in subsections from a to c when a party that benefits is a
player lower in the ranking.

if a seller wants to sell an item/set for 5 times more (or less) the amount it is on the Evaluation board, they should be allowed to do so if someone wants to buy the item/set.
Owners should set the values of their items.

IV. All accounts, including their items, etc. are virtual objects of the game. The user does not obtain ownership or any other rights to the account. All rights are reserved by BW Team. No rights, in particular no exploitation rights, are assigned to the user. It is prohibited to sell the objects to third parties or lay claims to any of said objects.

i understand this to mean you can't sell your account or any items for real money, but the player should have the right to sell items at any price (stones, pop, junk or trade for other items) they choose.

II. Termination by user.
The membership may be terminated by the user at any time by deleting the character. BW Team reserves the right to apply protection period to protect user's data information from unauthorised access and abuse by third parties. The period may last no longer than 3 days, in case of players on vacation mode no longer than 3 days since the end of the vacation.

VIII. It is prohibited to create multi-accounts.
Multi-accounting is the usage of more than one account by one user on the same Bloodwars realm.
A sufficient reason for accusation of multi-accounting is the usage of more than one account from the same IP number or the same computer on the same Bloodwars server. Logging from one computer is identified by the administrator with system identification devices and user's computer on the grounds of data sent in http headers to BloodWars server and session data.

give an example of multi-accounting...
if i stop logging into an account (without deleting the character) and use another e-mail address to create a new account, is that considered multi-accounting?
technically, i'd have 2 characters in 1 realm but wouldn't be using both accounts, so is that still a violation?

information is key!!!

the key to attracting new players and keeping new players is keeping everything simple...
by no means am i saying make the game simple...
but make the rules/regulations simple...
make the tutorial simple (detailed though)...
keep the forum simple (for discussions only)

i've never played a game where most of the information was on the forum...
i've never played a game where the ban list was open for discussion...
"hey, i know these people in real life, they are bro and sis playing from same computer, i visit them every weekend and we all play blood wars together ...please unban them"
if anything should be kept private, it should be ^ that

that's a bad analogy ...although that aggravates me as well (someone asking a question when the answer is right in front of them) ...but in this game, there is a plethora of information to retain or bookmark to go back to as a reference

...i now have a BloodWars folder in my bookmarks (which is ridiculous in my opinion)

and you guys who've been playing for over a year or since the beginning ('07?), the information is easy to find or remember ...so of course you'll be annoyed each time a newbie asks a question that you've answered or linked numerous times

...but instead of snapping at newbies, don't leave a reply ...someone else will answer nicely or the newbie may find the answer on their own.

yeah, some people ask before they search, but that's also part of human nature.

how many times have you asked "have you seen my keys?" and the keys were right in front of you, in your coat pocket or your purse? you didn't look for more than 5 seconds before you asked "where are my keys?"

and just to add more "strength" to my point of view:

if a newbie is searching how to build their Absorber character, which stats to boost, a set up for ambush, expos, and sieges ...there are numerous threads about building an Absorber from different POV ...so the newbie decides to start a new thread asking "how should i build my Absorber char" and get replies like:
"this has been discussed before [link here], [like here] and [link here]. warning for spam. next to click the big SEARCH button before you start a new thread."

this is not a very nice welcoming, first of all, and annoying the veteran forum users (including Mods/Devs) should not be against the rules which some/most of the forum rules are implemented so "VIPs" won't be annoyed.

with this Mentor program, a newbie can find a player to help them in-game vs on this forum. regardless of how many nice people reply to a newbie's thread, the "annoyed" people also reply and turn newbies off. so to eliminate some of the flaming, it's best to offer a Mentor program instead of offering links for newbies to read on their own.

the tutorial is far from perfect and far from helpful ...and i've seen complaints about the UK tutorial vs the Polish tutorial...so why direct newbies to the (UK) tutorial if it sucks? no one has made it better in 5 years ...why? a wik is supposed to be the information center, whereas a forum is supposed to be a place to discuss information and ideas, a place for recruitment, etc.

edit 1: Clan Recruitment
the result of the mentor program suggestion was the Mercenaries and Loan section ...that is not what my suggestion is btw... this is not about a high-level merc helping a small clan in expos/sieges ...this is 100% about knowledgeable players mentoring newbies who do not understand the rules, regulations, characters, politics of the game, etc

nothing is wrong with the words of advice section...

i've used it many times myself, but having a mentor is, dare i say, more convenient.

my in-game mentor is a buddy of yours irl Flash, and without him, i'd still be confused and more frustrated... i definitely would've quit had i not met this guy.

this forum doesn't provide real-time answers ...and maybe i should've tried using the irc(?) before i had my rants, but i don't enable java very often...

point is, some people (me) only learn when they're being told something by someone who explains things in words they understand ...and that's not a dagger being thrown at people who speak English as a second language ...i'm saying some people on this forum would be horrible teachers/mentors.

and i also think using word of advice is cool if you only have a few questions ...but when you need in-depth advice, this forum is not the place to find it.

Mentor Program... 02-07-2012 00:09 Forum: Offtopic

now, i know folks will dislike this idea (because it's my idea, not the idea itself)...

there should be a Mentor Section (probably in Words of Advice or Players) for newcomers who visit the forum.

it can be set up like the Mercenary thread where Mentors share a bit of information about themselves and their character

Level
Race
Tattoo (UW)
and whatever else you may think is important like time zone and availability

mentors should be willing to answer questions, not throw up links...
answer questions in their own words and explain (rules/regulations) when necessary...

there's nothing more frustrating then being a newbie who makes mistakes and is warned/banned for it...

i can imagine in Underworld, a newbie offering too many stones for something they deem valuable/expensive but is only worth a few bloodstones because there aren't many lower level players to bid for something.

and please forbid a newbie from bidding on something and being banned for pushing because they don't check the Evaluation thread

...they bid based on how badly they want an item, not how much the Mods think it's worth...

and i say this because i was offered 120k pop (in Necro) for my LG hunting rifle which i paid 25k pop for (which according to my clan i paid too much for) ...me and this person could've been banned had i accepted the offer...

and i'm not suggesting a Mentor section for discussing anything on the forum...
mentoring would be via in-game inbox, e-mail, skype, etc...

it'd be very wise & helpful to have a direct "guide" (Mentor) vs. using the search button in this forum.

some threads are outdated ...it doesn't matter if the information of those threads is still accurate ...the point is some information is inaccurate.

i know that's why Mods should be PM'd if you can't find an answer or come to your own conclusion ...but having a Mentor (online when you're online) is more efficient.

this wasn't the end of my idea but i can't remember what else i wanted to say ...so i may add more later.

and i searched to check if this idea was previously posted and did find 6-8 threads, but nothing on this scale...

can i give her my Underworld account? do we report to operator (you, i assume) as "giving away your account"? she created an account as my vassal for that task...

IGN: nicki minaj ...this is the account, you can check IP to see it's different from mine.

http://r1.bloodwars.net/showmsg.php?a=profile&uid=80573

she doesn't want to use it though...

i am trying to avoid account sitting and pulling ...she doesn't want to accept that in this game, we must play as if we are strangers.

and i know i can be permanently banned for this but i think i used 2 different e-mails ...after i deleted my very first character, i used another e-mail to create another character ...i didn't know by deleting the first character i could still use the same e-mail address to log in and create a new character. i don't even remember which e-mail address i used when i first found BW but i may have used the same e-mail address i'm using now ...may have been my college e-mail but i am not enrolled this semester so i don't use it anymore...

as long as i don't log into the other account (from the same IP :evilSmile , i won't be banned?
