i am going to explaint this to you again but in short, i cant be bothered this time

The character defence + is still cancelled out by suicide/veng Wink so no that doesnt work Tongue , that's my main problem, i say keep either change the description of suicide/veng to include char defence in it(it actually doesnt specify anything about char def) or make it so character defence isnt cancelled out by suicide/veng..........fair enough?

Leaves reaction or dryad.... 20% crit chance or 30 rep.

With ranged having no dmg modifyer stat, theirs limited dmg boosts. Ranged crit modifyer is x3 which is really goodfactoring in the amount of attacks, but means that we have to crit to get good dmg out.
That means that although yes, were gain survivability we pretty much kill our damage output with Dryad. Losing 2-300 dmg a hit 20% of the time ..... ouch. A heck of a lot more loss for the higher levels if they are criting 1k+

So pretty much need to use reaction, or else we cant compete. Im not too fussed on the nerf.... perhaps it was too OP, i mean ... looking at some high level ranger expos its understandable how they can seem that way.

But they need to toally rework the other suffixs to make them at least viable .... give all ranged weapons a flat boost to crit AND take away the crit negative to leg. Then they can nerf the crap out of reaction, wont matter too much.

but also it doesnt, you happily pile on the defence while having a weapon that ignores practically all defence, it's a win win situation for you

Beserker is only the highest damage class while also on a low defence! that's what your forgetting when the beserker has lets say 5x 500-550 etc and a hunter(lets take ft and his 4 def/4 levels+MORE) and he has lets say 400 defence(close enough) that's already -200/hit off and -800 on crits while the hunter will be ripping into the beserker's 0 defence(ok a bit of toughness)

basically if your not absolutely op as beserker, you wont have a chance against so much defence and as other tattoo's get enchants like char def + 100 and more and more beserkers will still only be able to manage 0 def

gunmen and gangsters are not the only OP classes on the server, how many times have you seen them be able to get enough perception to doge an expo mob like melees do with agility?

how many times have you seen any gunner deal over 11k damage like some rangers and BK's?
dont get me wrong, the players that can do this, have worked hard to make it happen, but gunners are underpowered by about 10% of there damage with accuratley contrasted gear

yes the server needs to be tweak (slightly) but i dont really agree with a fair portion of the teaks proposed
saying that though, im going off a google translated article, so for now it means nothing, i guess we need to wait for the patch to go live before getting to critical


your forgetting about beserkers and being forced to have 0 defence while other people rangers/bk's/even hunters can use character defence + items and per 1 def/4 levels equip! if any tattoo is in need of equalling out it has to be beserker at higher levels or simply let character defence not be cancelled out by suicide/veng

anyway, if al didnt translate this where exactly do i find it?.

ok you are both forgetting the big problem

to use level 4 absorbtion i need to use 10/11 current evo pts

leaving me with only level 1 hardened tendons Frown

i do need the agility, i was thinking to keep my potential i could go for lv 2 hardened tendons/3 absorb and then level 1 of something else to maximise potential

Ok many of you should know me and how i play Big Grin (beserker ;P)

my problem is i am now level 75 with currently level 3 absorbtion and level 2 hardened tendons + 456 evo points currently. My evo level is currently 11

(both those 2 evo's take up 9/11 on max)

what should i aim for next?

if i go with what i want (level 3 tendons) then i wont actually be able to use it.....(would need level 12 evo level)............same problem for when i want to go for level 4 absorb....(i should have enough pts by time i reach level 76) but even then i would need 13 evo level Tongue

what do people recommend Smile ? (maybe start on the dodge evo?/carapace)

ok so currently "character" defence is being counted as "item" defence

this means the suicide and vengeance suffix's cancel out both the "character defence" and also the "item defence"

how is this so? character defence isnt exactly an item so it should not be counted as such.

for vengeance/suicide users we have only our toughness now as defence and with people now being able to manage 500 defence + along with a very good damage rate (not to mention someone finding 4 def per 4 levels enchantment!!!) it leaves us beserkers in a pickle with those char's also managing to wield sometimes near the same equip and can also easily hit us. Beserkers already got shafted in the exp tattoo department along with not exactly brilliant other tattoo's so i think it would only be fair to allow us compete with those with ridiculous defence!

Conclusion(for those lazy people Big Grin ): Character defence should not be neutralised when using veng/suicide (which state ONLY item defence =0)
