Gendibal- So as I understand it you are proposing a system where you are only allowed to by junk every 'x' hours and when you are allowed to buy it you can only buy a percentage of what you have. That way you always have cash which can be ambushed from you but it is still possible to accrue cash? Am I right in my understanding here?
Darkone- So now I learn I am in fact low level. Pray tell- what level is mid and high level? And how many high levellers are there? And am I to take it that I should start saving as much money as I can now then?

I havent been successfully ambushed since 12th January.
I would also like to point out that the money I have is in Junk when this percentage rule is NOT in place. So yes you may be right but my point still stands- a PERCENTAGE is what is needed here. Not necessarily 50%. Did you read my earlier post?

I'm not totally convinced of the difficulty of amassing 500,000 Lgo. I currently hold 440k Lgo in junk and that wasnt outrageously difficult to obtain.
However I do see your point. Gendibal has a good solution- a combination of the 50% rule and the 'only buy junk every x hours' rule.
However the 50% was just a figure I used as an example. It could just as easily be 30% or anything else....

Yes you would. Attacking others (using this system) would earn money. When you return to the 50/50 ratio you can buy more junk. Eventually you will save enough in junk to sell the lot and pay for a building upgrade.
Or am I misunderstanding you Mortis?

With regards to the ongoing troubles of Junk I refer to a post I just made in another thread but which may not be seen as it is about a now old patch....
Perhaps a solution is to make a limit to the amount of money you can put into junk. But rather than having a simple cash limit, make it a percentage of the amount you have.
eg instead of having 100,000 Lgo and buying all the junk you can afford (possible at the moment) make it so you can only put 50% of the money you have into Junk. That way people can still 'bank' money, saving it for when they need to build buildings etc. but sieges and attacks are still worthwhile as people do have money to take.
With the above rule in place you can only buy 50,000 Lgo of junk and 50,000 remains in your account. If you are attacked and you lose 20,000 the figures do not balance and you are not allowed to buy any more junk until the 50/50 proportion is corrected. You can still sell your junk. Its all about keeping the 50/50 balance.
So how is that? What am I missing? There is still cash to be gained... lower levels can protect their gold.... sieges are made more worthwhile....
Any flaws?

Would it even be possible to shift-click or some such to select all messages of a certain type? That way you could instantly select all the quest result messages and delete them. or instantly select all the pms and delete them. its one button. Not too much to ask, is it?

OK I could really use some guidance here.
You see I dont really know where to go. I have a load of items that improve various stats. The thing is I dont know which items to use to improve the RIGHT stats. Surely not all stats are useful to every chosen profession?
At the moment i'm using 2 Uzi(+5)'s in conjunction with a bloody helmet so that every time I hit (6 attacks total) I gain 2 health. But i'm not convinced with the Uzi's. Is it better to go with other guns? Is a two handed gun better? Is a two-handed ranged weapon better?
I heard on another thread that there are very few gunners amongst the top players. If thats the case, what are the top players using?
All words of advice and ideas are greatly appreciated. At the moment I feel like i've got a box of lego without the instructions. How do I put this thing together???

Think i'll keep the Shorts of Night (+3) that I found that give me +18 agility though. They may help me get my first pilgrimage. All this and I still havent split into my 2 Soulstones or my 4 mergestones!
