Really? Did you read any of the thread? Before there was an antibot there were those making scripts. You don't need to be a computer programmer to make one, so your technophobia isn't really a valid argument here.

No its not guaranteed, unless you're using scripts that can refresh a page quicker than you can click. As I mentioned above if you care to read. The only way to stop people using these means, is to implement an Antibot that temporarily bans an account refreshing a page too quickly.
And to answer Franz, the devs know full well about the repercussions of not having it in place regardless of how many people don't want it.

Granted I haven't been on here in a while so I've no idea what the mob situation is, but before I left there was a serious shortage and people were literally refreshing every few minutes waiting on one to appear. On the polish servers the situation was much worse, they have genuinely active and FULL servers (not ones with maybe 1500 active players) and people were using illegitimate means to make sure they got expos.. |
How illigitimate can an expo get when you cant make it any quicker by refreshing? and with the option to now create an expo if you successfully respawn a mob its not needed..
and if people are refreshing every minute to see if one appears they are idiots.. if theres a team in there its either going to fail on the half hour or on the hour.
Maybe im clearly missing the bigger picture but if i am then please do explain |
As I said, its been a while since I've been involved with expeditions so if the system has changed fair enough. My point is without the antibot, it opens up the possibility of people cheating when competing for a monster (one they're not spawning themselves). |
How can you cheat when the game automatically releases monsters on the half hour / hour if the team fails? there is no way you can force the game to let a monster drop before the timer finishes |
Correct, but what you can do is constantly refresh and apply for expos so that once one is dropped you are guaranteed to get it.

My advice for you is pick something that will mean something to you. It doesn't have to be obvious or recognisable to anyone else, as long as you feel connected to it, then it will simply become a part of you.
If you have any reputable artists near you (you're in Florida, of course you do
) go and talk with someone who does custom work and they will help you settle on a final design

How did i come across them?
