Well, I was aware of that, but I didn't know that would be so much of a problem.
Anyway it's not important, since less glow (2) version is fine for me

So, either the glow should be more glowing 
or there should be the cross over a non-glowing tattoo.
But in that case, if tattoo would be covered by red cross, hardly anyone would notice the difference.

Perhaps tattoos should glow when they are active? (when character matches requirements).
Like, you know, magic is activated and makes tattoos glow. For example, when the vampire changes his weapons and doesn't match requirements any longer, the glow stops and they are now ordinary tattoos.
What do you think?
