this i have a bone to pick with aswell, C1 has potential for amazing damage.
damage from BoD coming into play sooner, and giving dodge meaning they spend more time alive with their damage increase.

Its simple really. assuming 85% crit and 99% hit(yes luck will do that, for both gangster and gunman)
20 attack gunman, will make a 16 attack gangster with exact same gear.
so gunman have:
20 (attacks) * 0,99 (to hit chance) * 0,85 (critical hits) * 1,5 (crit multiplier) * X (weapon damage) + 20 (attacks) * 0,99 (to hit chance) * 0,15 (regular hits) * X (weapon damage) = 28,215 * X damage per round
gangster have:

Alyat is wrong about mob effective to hit chance though, with 100 luck and 30% dodge, it will be reduced to 49%

50% crit chance required from power of blood is the bit i have a problem with.
i don't doubt the effectiveness of the tattoo, or that it's very much suited to absorbers, but to say that 85% crit chance without assault is easy, is mad.
the luck factor of crit and hit chance is all dependant on the opponents luck, even with expo mobs, should we calculate it? do we assume it's 0 because we can't see it? we can't see that expo mobs have mad +to hit, but we know they do. so how can you begin to form calculations if you dont have a bassline to compare luck with?

one sided opinion, your argument is invalid, a gunman TC with twisted will outsurvive the absorber gangster, live longer, get more attacks off, do more damage. i think you're also somewhat clueless about the crit chance gained from PoB, even with the luck, it doesn't equate to much crit at all.
on top of that, you shouldn't count luck for adjusting crit chance, due to it being affected by the opponents luck.
EDIT: deadly set means no assault, even with the tier 3 dispos, 70 crit chance from PoB? max venom glands, 50% crit chance from PoB? also not happening.

There's a reason they have no crit in the tat, with an extra damage multiplier and keeping crit in the tattoo you'd end up with a very unbalanced tattoo.
absorber with power of blood isn't enough crit to get reliable crits if you're just showing up with gunman gear, it still requires evos & assault if you're after decent crit chance, so it doesn't make it sponge only.

strengths and weaknesses get called imbalanced all to often, i'm quite happy as it is, especially with a female character, lets fast forward a few years when chronos becomes common place on the server, in excess of 800 defence is not uncommon, now for easy maths, ignoring 20% of that is cutting it down by 160 defence. Now as a melee character, that means i've effectively gained 80 damage, for the same 80 damage gain as a male with a bandanna would require level 320, madness, i know. But if we start looking towards mobs/players with low defence, a percentage ignore defence of sod all defence makes.... sod all difference, causing the bandanna to benefit much more so in these situations.
At the end of the day it's swings and roundabouts, personally i think the game gender mechanics are fine as is, though i feel a few people may be "doing it wrong" to coin a term. Play to your characters strengths, having a female character as a bk and wanting to use elvish skirt of dodges is daft, so, you don't do it. It's no different to having a BM that isn't melee.

Okay, again you have taken what I have said and twisted it to try and form some sort of argument.
Premium is useful. Pretty much everyone who plays regularly has it, It's like £1 for a mobile one, people that don't buy it are either new to the game and don't know if they like it yet or just don't care about having extra attacks and quests. Also the current shortening we have is good. Everyone who can buy premium has it because it is useful.
You are asking for something that has already been made better to be improved again so you don't have to waste as much of your life looking at a timer and trying to fob it off as "it will be gud 4 evary1". I'm beginning to sound like a broken record here. It's a silly idea and you're just twisting what people have said.

No because the current shortening is fine. What you want is to shorten your shortening option. I'm so tempted to put a "Yo Dawg I heard you like shortening" meme up here but I wont.
They have already added shortening to quests, that cuts 20 mins off pilgrims. What do you want? A 5 min pilgrim with a 1 min 30 sec far quest and a 50 second short quest?
You just want to progress faster and are trying to fob it off as "It wood be gud for evary1 if we cud shorten our shortening."
You're just being stupid now. Twist and change the words and make yourself look like an idiot.

I know you do pilgrims, I never said you don't. I said if you don't have time to do them and want shortening to shorten your shortening then you shouldn't do them.
Why do you need more experience from them? You don't. It's fine the way it is you're just trying to level faster.
If someone spends 4 hours just looking at a screen waiting for a timer to tick down then of course they are going to want to slit their wrists. My advice is - Play this in the background of another game that you don't have to wait for timers. I personally play this when I am on facebook or doing something more interesting. You could even set up a caravan of 3 pilgrims at 10 mins each and go do something interesting around the house or something for half hour.. Come back every half hour to click your quests..

Everyone that has posted here has voiced their opinion. You just don't like it cause it goes against yours.
Personally I would hate to have this in the game. It's "pay to win!" then. If you don't have time to do pilgrimages, don't do them. There's a reason I still only have easy quests done for act 3.
Not everyone has more than a couple of quid to throw at this game, it would just ensure that people with more money can progress faster/easier than the people with actual skill in the game that can't spend any more. It would turn into most other text based games.
