You don't have to be friendly to be a good player.
Ambitious for sure. You also need to be stubborn and have no life (a lot of free time). A little bit of psychology might come handy if you wish to succeed in social life 
So basically, a psychopath would be the perfect player

I don't think you need to be friendly or ambitious - other people seem to get on well in the game without these attributes. But what you need most is......
