Ask yourself this: Do you REALLY need a Legendary hat or a Legendary short bow? Stuff like that, no one wants. Either sell or destroy and that'll clear out room. it doesn't take much to sell stuff like that to shop or destroy it in well of souls.
Mine's been at 65/75 for the longest time now because I got rid of useless stuff that I was holding onto. (Like a knife of authority, knife of precision or a caring knuckle duster). Seriously, about half of what you have there isn't worth the bloodstones to upgrade so you can sell it.
Sure, I sometimes forget to sell after a few days and gather like 85/75 but it's not thread worthy, especially when a good portion of it's junk. Now if it was all really good stuff and you had 500+/80, then yeah, it's thread worthy.
I kind of wish I held on to one or two really good things I sold for stones because now I could have a second titanium ring of youth...but that's besides the point.
