I'm talking insanely rare here!

How about an item that can't be equipped, and does only one thing.

Merge with any item to make it Legendary.

Call it anything that sounds vaguely relevant (Hero Soul?), make it devour huge quantities of Mana and Nanites, possibly require the "merge" to actually need a Soul Stone, then release it into the wild as a rare drop!

Tbh I'm not against this idea and this could be implemented in Act III like Legendary items were implemented in Act II.

I am 100% against the idea. It's stupid.

We need people to do that?

Think of the amount of people with a mudeeous mace of suicide.. Do you really want them with25% chance tohit more and 25%crit..

Think of the one handers. One handed gunners can buy a Scorpio.. And make it perfect by merging 2.. Then making it legendary. And that's only 2sets. Think of the others

Hmmm... i could really go for a Legendary P+1 tigers cape of deathsower right about now....

Its a stupid idea....

People need to work for their legendary items (although noone needs to work harder than 1h mellee) this item would destroy that
