PM and CM cut before max characters reached |

Problem description: Necro and possibly UW. When posting long messages in game it cuts out long before the max characters is reached.
You can type up to 2000 characters but when you receive the message or check your sent message half of it is cut off.

Well sorry but this was back in March...You would think they would have taken care of it by now...this and the whole time bug so you can never tell if someone is online or not.

Hmm, just tested it myself and I must say that the counter seems to be very accurate. In fact it's exactly how it suppose to be. The only thing which is reducing the space is when you press Enter. Although the editor counts correctly 2 character for each Enter (CR+LF) it seems it takes 3 characters.
I have written 2000 char long test message where I pressed Enter 10 times. And exactly 10 last characters were missing in the message.
So from my point of view it seems all is correct.

This is not a bug.
There is information: "Characters remaining: ~2000"
The '~' char in front of 2000 is not accidential.
There are many chars (enter/newline, most of international chars) that javascript counts as 1, but in fact they must be saved in a database as 2 chars.

ok I thought that might be the case but it is confusing when sending messages that get cut off....no way to avoid that?
Like copying and posting a bunch of items to the clan for instance to sell...the last few items always get cutt off even though your message may say 300 characters left
