Well, i just thought id try and satisfy a curiosity. I wanted to find out what peoples first/current cars are, any modifications and regional/country differences.

In britain, unless you have rich parents, a very good job or just insanely lucky, you start with a small engine and epically high insurance premiums.

My first car was a little Rover 25 1.4. I paid an exorbitant amount to insure it but it was great because i was on the road and free from public transport.

I currently have a Vauxhall Astra mk4 1.8 convertible (marketed elsewhere as Holden or Opel) and a Peugeot 306 1.9 diesel turbo as a winter motor. All have/had subtle modifications which made them mine Smile

I had a blue Ford Fiesta 1.4 which I bought for £500 and it sucked. But it was better than what we called "the peasant wagon" aka the bus.

Then I bought a Peugeot 206 1.1 in black, which was lowered, had sub + amp, tinted windows, new 17inch wheels, good headunit, White neons in the footwells and under the car.

I now have a 2008 silver Vauxhall Astra 1.6 bog standard no need for mods.

My next car soon is gona be a Honda Civic 1.8 Type S in black. The reason I say this is because I financed my Astra and part of my deal was I get a new car at the end of payment, and that's about 5months away Wink

As for driving cars iv had my 3 above, a Subaru Imprezza ( they are crap, if I could use a harsher word on here I would ) mini cooper, 207, megan scenic, corsa, polo.

Not an amazing car list but I'm only 21 and still going strong Wink my perfect car would be a Mitsubishi Evolution XII. I would LOVE one and I will have one, one day when my insurance won't fist me and cost about 10k -_-

I have a '97 Ford Escort Wagon with the modification of rust along the rocket panels (bottom of the car). It's my first and I won't get a new one till I completely wear it out which probably won't happen for another 200K kilometers.

Hopefully by the time that happens I'll be able to afford a nice Ford Mustang, either a '69 Cobra or one of the newer models (2010 or 2011) in either black or cherry red.

I'm a mustang girl at heart....but come on now, LOOK AT IT:

Now, because business is good and cars are an important part of social status in Eastern Europe when you do business with Russians, I have a Volvo S80. It's nice and powerful Big Grin

can't drive it yet, but i have an absolutely mint BMW 635 csi, alpine white, it's had the head rebuilt with a little bit of porting, it's right hand drive, straight through stainless exhaust makes the 3.5 litre straight six sound beautiful, it's amazing for tunnel blasting Big Grin
and the insurance would be on the expensive side of 10k, not fun.
