Since I joined Source in ~March 2011 our clan has been sieged 5 times in total.

The only clan that has been taking squares from us has been DB.

What amuses me is this:

More exp for lower players

Let me see if I got it right.

He suggests new ways to increase the population in Underworld, right? For what purpose? So that new players can spend months and years upgrading their squares so that his clan can just take them.

Wouldn't it be easier not to behave like bullies to prevent the ones already playing from leaving? Or am I wrong?

This is a game. Siege is a feature meant to be used but lets be real?

A clan with ~47 members with a worth of ~110000 points sieges a clan with ~24 members and ~15k points and a clan message is made every siege telling every member to participate in the siege (as if it's nessacery). I mean, the two biggest players combined have more points than the entire clan getting sieged.

I just appriciate the fact that there is 1 clan on this server that actually shows great character by helping the smaller clans.

If it wouldn't have been for HLL stepping up, the population in Underworld would decrease alot more and more clans would be forced to disband due to only having worthless squares.

Do you remember why Tiger_claw was removed from BoS?

Diablo kicked him out for telling people when members were questing. Tiger claw had a nasty habit of taking things unto himself and not giving a damn about consequences. HE forced the alliance. Dont tar 1 clan with the same brush as a few of its members Wink

I still speak to tiger_claw on FB quite alot.. all he still seems to care about is wether you have been taken down a peg or two.. (not you personally... just BoS)

So someone who was the main mouthpiece of the clan, a lot of the time the deputy of the clan, isn't speaking on behalf of the clan when he tries to poach A_N members after the war and tries to ally DB with HLL?

Or did he have his 'i'm not the deputy' hat on when making these wild moves?

Not a great fan of how the war ended, dont think anyone came out of it with much reason to be judging others. Of course the self-righteous will point fingers and say 'there's the bad guy', but really, did any clan stick to their principles and the agreed plan of action? Yes, one, which brings me nicely onto you...

In a way DB is doing just that and is creating what we all signed up for...
A Big War With Vampires. Although DB may be in the wrong to some people
i think they are not becouse they are simply giving all active players what they
signed up for. The game is about fun, so why not have fun and just play happily
and fairly.

Don't use this colour, it's confusing.

Yes the game is about fun but when you 1st start the game and you join a clan and get seiged an evrything taken away from you you don't wana stick around in the game because you think its just going to keep happening when you get anything good its going to be taken away from you by the bigger players thats why most new comer's leave soo early and don't come back and people complain that were not getting enough players in the game

This reminds me of the carebears in eve online crying when pirate players blow up their ships and harass their corps through war decs etc. The game mechanics are there and intended for a reason. Players use them to their fullest extent and it is not the responsibility of the developers to create a safe environment for players if that is not what the game is designed for. There is farmville and world of warcraft for this with non pvp servers.

I really dont mind BoS helping DB as they cant win without crying to their big brother. I also seem to remember BoS needing help from everyone BUT DB when it went pete tong for you and your clan decided you werent good enough.

I dont lie mikel...

we dont make allies with clans because that gets them in trouble if we start a fight.

We make friends with players as you may have noticed Smile

alliances and friendships are different things but i doubt you would understand that having no friends.

are you also referring to tempest and incarceration?... they left HLL to get blood for the siege .... considering they were inactive for months and sitting at the top of the clan list.

They have been in HLL for longer than most of its current members..but i thought you would know that considering you seem to know everything.

also the few members that joined afterwards.. (moe lester being one) was for him to start the siege to get HIS square back....

I had My square taken by DB so I am biased .
But I think Hll are doing a great job against DB and will join them as soon as the clan building is done.
Although I should thank DB for giving Me a reason to log in regularly Smile

When it comes to mods I think most are in BOS and DB so they can censer the opposition .

You clearly don't deserve to have a thread for discussions about alliances because you don't know how to behave yourselves. I thought I should give you a chance, I haven't warned any of you for spam in the battlefield section (going by your logic I should've warned everyone from DB and HLL and ignore BoS) and moved all the posts here hoping that you'll continue the discussion as it was going...
