What is the effect of this caracteristics on a vengeance weapon?

owner defensive items have no defence at all
or
all items in combat have no defence
or
these weapons donc care about the defenseve items of the one they attack?

It will zero your defense from all your equiped items leaving you just with defense from toughness.
