im not sure as generaly once you get to a certain lv, youre good enough so that you wont miss, im presuming this is mainly for extremly low lvs but im guessing that it eould say xxxxxx attacked wwith xxx and missed.

Well, some tattoos give a bonus "dodge +25 %" and dodge differs from missing. When you miss it's your fault, when the enemy dodges it's his "fault". Before the patch you never knew if you missed or the enemy dodged. Now there are different texts for dodge and miss.

However I haven't seen anybody around here who has such tattoo so I can't say exactly what the text will be.

This is the text of dodges as the enemy "performed a series of feints". The text of miss is "an enemy dodges the strike". Weird but true.
