Auction

Now i know we have an auction, where people bid for your items, but could you not have a trade system, where you trade items instead of stones.

For instance: You have a chain of wisdom and want a dagger of suicide, instead of waiting 24 hours for your auction to finish, then bid on the item in question, could you not just do a trade?

Both people would have to agree to it of course, but it would speed up the whole process.

Anyone want to voice their opinion? Big Grin

You'd get way unfair advantages

a level 60 with a spare dag of suicide, could give it to a very good friend to borrow that's level 30ish, can keep doing this countless times in clans which could cause a huge advantage for clan with rich players.
Also if someone borrows something, items could get stolen and things
it'd just cause alot of problems ;\

yes, but no matter what system you have a few people will always try to cheat, or get round it. If someone found a way to make it fair and secure it would be good though. Thats not likely though, someone else would find a loophole somewhere. Frown

If this happens, it would defeat the object of not putting the 'original' (ie. the ones they have on some/all of the pl servers) old market into the english server, because it wasnt put in so that players could not push/pull items between multis

Direct trade won't be allowed in the Underworld. The risk of players cheating is too high. There will be players who will create several accounts and trade items between them. I would rather sell those items for stones and prevent those players from cheating...
