Farewell Underworld!

The time has finally come for me to close my coffin for good and leave the game so I can join the long list of players who have moved on ahead of me (more and more now).

Special thanks to my friends and clannies in Vault Thirteen, the clan which I have been proud to lead for some time now, but also to all the fantastic peeps in Source, where I was before. Thanks also to my friends and allies all over the place, and also my worthy adversaries.

Vault Thirteen will now be led by Terjohnny, and I am more than satisfied that the guys will be in safe hands. Thanks for everything guys - it has been a pleasure.

I have been thinking about leaving the game for some time now, but to be honest ever since the AN wars finished, the game has become a toxic and fetid dead-end for me. The game is supposed to be fun, but it has ended-up being too bitchy and cliquey and the politics are just annoying now. If I want a soap-opera I just turn on the telly! Except that I hate soap-operas, lol.

Although I have a few projects in the pipeline, I just don't have the heart to continue on and finish them. There is also no fight in me anymore.

Remember me how you will - opponents and allies alike. I hope to think I was generally a peacemaker. There will always be war in Underworld though, but not my war. I fought the good war and won, but now it's time to retire. I hope that at least I have helped with a few buildings, badges and merge-routes along the way. A few recent ones:

A few words of advice to those who want to maximise game enjoyment: share resources and give poh and protection hits, help build, help with badges for juniors, chat with guys in other clans and make friends, but more than anything else - just have fun - it's only a poxy wee game at the end of the day!

Delete character button will soon be pressed, and I'm nekkers now, so come and get some while you can.
