Clan armoury tke your items as clan item and lock items |
|
I have 2 ideas to make BW easyer and safer [or most you drunk players
]
First
Say you put your items into ca, i.e luck, blood
When you taking out to use could there be a option if you own the item so that you take it out as a clan item. This way you won't forget to put it back in (i do tons) and if you go off with blood and your the player who has clans blood then leader/dep can remove from you instead of having to wait for you to be online.
Second
Was thinknig of a ability to lock items
If you lock a item you cannot sell it to shop, destroy it or put on auction. You can ca, equip etc still.
Im thinking of this as people (mainly while drunk =P) Decide to sell/destroy or maybe auction there best items by mistake, i will adimt it is quite scary when going into destroy items which are in box 10 with all my good items.
You would be able to lock unlock items in armoury i would say and with having to tick the box's and press button at top.
Please can i have some feedback, please no stupid replies thanks.
I don't know if it be easy to code, cause lag etc.

i think is a very good idea foxy!
im one of the people that forgets to put stuff in ca after using it.
i think another good idea can be:
after a player is been offline for 20-30 mins with clan items get automatically unequiped (or even better to have an option to set this on/off, in case of borrowing items for sieges through ca)

That's just too complicated, and would require too many parameters to consider.
If a player forgets to put items back in CA, then he gets punished and that's the end of the deal.
If a player takes CA items for more than 20 minutes with a very good reason (such as a long caravan while having coffee, and he's warned the clan in advance) then an automatic strip off would be completely unfair.
And the locking option for items, well as much as it makes me laugh to come onto BW at 3 in the morning when i'm drunk and high, it's my own responsibility and if I happen to destroy/sell items (which I have never done and I really don't know how you can do that ...) well it's my own bad and devs are not going to implement functions especially for drunk players, that's just ridiculous.

i have an idea what about if the clan leader could set items to have a time limit
if the items are removed by the owner and put back it....it'll simply reset it to no timer
e.g. the cl could set all the shammy/elastic items to have a timer of 10minutes so when someone takes it from the ca it automatically removes it from them 10minutes later whatever

2nd idea sounds okay, sensible. But its unnecessary. If you are inclined to sell your items to the shop you are ridiculous. I have never done that to an item i need.
And i play very drunk at times.
Your first idea is just not needed, it complicates things greatly. At the end of the day if you are responsible for important CA items, just take them and then put them back.

I don't really think this is necessary. Being drunk is not a problem with the game itself, all I can do is to advise you to not play under influence, it may have dire consequences.
I think you'd agree with me that designing a game to make it drunk-proof isn't really a smart design.
