While in Armory, i only see 80+/80 items. But when i go to The Shop it says 132/80.
Why not make it both say the true number, instead of making me (and potentially other people) send extra queries to the server, in order to find out how many items we actually have?

They changed it because the loading speed increases when you don't have to sum the number of items ....
something like that if my memory is correct

But now, that i have to press armoury, see that i m overpacking, switch to shop to see how many items are plus, then back to armoury to start selling a few, is not increasing the server traffic?

Let's say you have 590 items in your armoury and you can sell 3 at a time. That's 170 requests to send the sum of all the items in the armoury.
If you keep selling them 3 by 3 and from time to time check the Shop page you can limit the amount of requests to like 5 or 10. That makes a huge difference.
