Try to avoid easy quests if you want, but the drop is provided and experience too. Seems only the message is cut at the beginning. Just passed two consecutive perception quests and both provided drop and experience.

Just adding information.

The problem seems to be with generating the report, not with the quest system itself. It cuts off everything below the pilgrimage quest.
