In my opinion Monk can take maximum advantages from a cultist - he have low HP and need regeneration, he have good agility but if you go on expo then agility helps and supplementary damage is good for all
disadvantages for gunners is the same problem like C1 for a melee, you can't use the arcana "+damage vs - agility" the same think are there you do not need the +agility, you need perception and damage not supplementary damage
BK for example need another attack...
Ranged... it's ok but they need critical hits because of minus from legendary items...
but if you just need the arcana from act 2 then all tattoo can be used by cultist very nice.
PS: i am absorber so my opinion can be wrong...

Cultist is good as a:
- Gangster - uses 1h guns, gangsters don't deal much damage at low levels, searing blood helps with it,
- Black knight - uses 2h melee, cultist can get extra strength from gear, and still reach opponents with high agility, it's also almost impossible to get enough agility to dodge his attack if he uses normal gear, he can also use blood of life and defeat many expo monsters solo without night of the heroes event,
- Sniper - uses 2h guns, has some difficulties in ambushes, but in expos he will be dealing really high damage for a long time,
- Hunter - uses ranged, every player who uses ranged weapons is ineffective on early expos, searing blood fixes that problem.
You can also choose, but you'll have many problems later on:
- Assasin - uses 1h melee, and 2h guns - he's very good in first expeditions, but later on has problems with dealing good damage
- Berserker - uses 1h & 2h melee, such character has problems with survivability, and later on without legendary 2h weapon of vengeance/suicide or legendary 2h weapon + tigers set of armors has serious problems with damage.

choosing your best tattoo path is near impossible untill you decide if your gonna be 1h or 2h guns, 1 or 2 handed melee or a ranger
people will throw options at you faster than you can read them unless you decide on a fighting style before trying to decide on a tattoo path
