Hey,
I'm lvl 18 absober. I can't decide which fighting style is the better. I prefer 1 h melee x2, but it seems a bit weak.
My stats:
Strength 16+3
Agility 18
Toughness 13

well i have just started a new account on french moria as a thought catcher and my set up is pretty decent
won close to 200 fights with no loses
my gear is
helmet of precognition
cape+5
amulet of pilgrim
signet
signet
elvish shorts
long bow +2
if you want to go as a melee figher you will need something like
deadly cap or cap of adrenaline
light cape or cape of cobra or elvish shirt
elvish shorts or shorts of shadowhunter/night
antique knife/dagger x 2
dagger of suicide x 2
if you can get something similar to those items with spending only 1 or 2 bs on them them that should do for the next few levels until you can get better.

Thanks for your advice.
I got 15k pops via trade, can u tell me how should i spend those points.
i mean how much agi compared to str, or perception or dunno. I don't know this in english... if u take for example str 20 for basis, how much stats(agi, knowledge, int, etc...) should i get compared to this. I want to go 1h melee, i started to gather stuffs.

ignore what i have just said that is for a different server all together, sorry for the confusion
okay as a beginner on necro I would recommend that you go as either a gunner or ranged especially for the first few levels
something for a guner set up would be
good cap of precognition
good or normal orchid armor (or any that adds damage)
vengeful signets and chain
shorts of the sun or shephard
perfect glocks/uzis/magnums
this little set up is not to hard to buy
if you want to go ranged
good/perf tigers cap
good/perf tigers armor
good vengeful/twisted set
good tigers shorts
perfect crossbow
again this set up is not to hard to find
now if you want to get 1handed melee something like:
good/perfect tigers or good adrenaline
good/perfect tigers armor or something that adds damage
good vengeful or good titanium set
good tigers/elvish/shadowhunter shorts
good antique knuckleduster/good fast dagger/knife
If you definitely want to go 1handed melee then when spending points on your stats I would spend more on strength and agility
example
strength 20
agility 20
toughness 15
appearance 15
charisma 15
reputation 15
intel 15
know 15
perc 15

shirt of the cobra
trousers of shadow hunter
good fast knife
good agile knife
what about these items?

yeah those items are a good start
if you join to a good clan they can loan you some easiness items to help you equip the amulet of levitation ;D

good/perf tiger set
good vengeful set
good/perfect antique/light/poisoned/reinforcing flail/halberd
your looking at a 2handed weapon with agility, 23% or better crit and more than 120 maximum dmg
that should get you some where for now

i have good vengeful set 1 of the with suffix, and good tiger's set, but as i see for the nice 2h weapos, i need more higher lvl, isn't it?

use your clans easiness to equip your weapon ;D
that way you can wear a lvl 60 weapon when you are a lower lvl

Yeah, I can loan easiness items from the clan armoury, and I can loan one more ring, so i can put on lvl 40 tiger's shorts. i dont have decent weapon yet, but later when i get it, some easiness would be quiet handy

Until i don't have the weapon... 2x 1h melee would be the best choice, right? And if it's then... more hits per round, or higher agi/dmg?
