They're good for tanking, so high defence tatts would work well.

One-handed gunner with twisted might be a decent idea too, but it's personal point of view . I'd say gangster over the other one, in that case

Underworld records

Have a look at the picture Paranoia posted; of the top 20, 4 are Thoughtcatchers, 3 of those are Black Knights.

That being said, I've seen some excellent work done with thoughtcatchers and both the 1-handed and 2-handed gunner set-ups.

I'm a Thoughtcatcher with the gunman tattoo; combined with a twisted set and level 3 absorption I'm pretty hard to hit.

i have seen that before but i hate bk tatoo
