its been over an hour..??

It seems like some problems with google (I get message that captcha can't connect to google.com to verify input). What's exactly happening when you enter captcha?

it brings me back to the log in screen

i try to log in then it brings straight back to the captcha screen

edit: even if i enter the words in-correctly it does the same....brings me back to log in and then back to capthca
