having a little trouble developing my character. im level 36 with strong arm and rain of arrows at level 1 each. current gear

Cap of Precognition (+5)
Shirt of Assassin (+5)
Amulet of Genius (+3)
Ring of Strength (+5)
Signet of Strength (+5)
Elvish Trousers (+4)
Shuriken of Reaction (+4)

having big problems with reputation. most of the time i get through on ambushes by luck more than anything. i dont want to change tattoos as i can do some pretty good damage (for my level). does anybody know how i can develop?

What level are your buildings? Build up your Vagrant Shelter as high as you can, this will give you more rep in attacks.
Apart from that you probably need much better jewelery - signet of concentration will give you wisdom, intel & rep. Signet of youth will give you strength, agility & rep. etc. Wink

Get a Suit/Cape of Death Sower/Assassin.

Swap the 2x of strength for of 1x of youth and maybe something that boosts rep? Like of Art.

my vagrants shelter is level 6 right now. ive really neglected my strength stat hence why i need the 2 rings to use some of my gear. how much would i be looking at roughly in total to get signet of youth and ring of concentration. damn i put my ring of art up for auction the other day. lol

Signet of Concentration 1-3 SS

Signet of Youth 1-2 SS

Merged
2 Merges 2MS, 3LS
1 Merge 1SS, 1MS, 1HS

I'd say get a Chain of Madman and then a Ring of Fox and Signet of Youth

That will give you very nice rep bonuses; also try Capes with Orchid, Assassin, Death Sower, Guardsman etc.. they will give damage.

Try maybe some Shorts of Shadow Hunter give rep + agi

Lol - yeah I find rep hard to boost as well. At the moment I'm wearing a strengthened suit of assassin - which is ok, but I wanna find something better. & I also sometimes where my shorts of shadow hunter - they help a lot, but lowers my agility & perception that I get from my other shorts.

this is what i use at the moment

be aware if you get a cape your tattoes wont work at as high levels. my advise is too boost you combined agility and percepton, as well as your tattoes then then find some 1 hand melleers, as they are pretty easy as they have low perception and about 110 gility so youll always get in, and can hit most of the time, compared to gunners where yo may fail to get in quite a bit

combined my agility and perception is around 120-130. have bought amulet of misdemeanor for rep and going for shorts of sun/elvish shorts. hopefully will have a hunters jacket soon too

This is my setup at the moment, i used to struggle with getting through on attacks too, so changed to Dryad for offensive and then go back to Reaction for defensive.

Good Hard hat of Precognition (+1)
Good Shirt of Death Sower
Good Chain of Accuracy
Good Ring of Youth
Good Signet of Youth
Good Elvish Shorts of the Rogue (+1)
Good Shuriken of Dryad (+1)

Once you get your Tatoos up to a high enough level you don't really notice the critical hit (or lack of) on the dryad.

I tried using a Chain of authority before i merged my dryad, and that worked pretty well, so may be another option for you mate.
