Patch for events was 3 months ago and we havent had a single event in the past 3 months on the server.

Patch notes on 23rd september :

Improved guaranteed events mechanism so that random events no longer overwrite them.

Eo does this mean beginning from october?

Patch notes from 31 July:
[All realms] Added "guaranteed" random events so that each realm has at least 3 events per month.

Events shold appear to be overwrite pops...

You should now be seeing events more often, if it is not the case in October we will investigate.

Can I ask, why wait till end of October?
If the patch should have been active for the last 2 months (not 3, July didn't count) and no events have taken place, then surely there's something wrong already... waiting another month wont change that.

We had special events in August that lasted a few days. However we have not had a single event since then, which means that the system is not working and it has to be fixed. If it was fixed we should have had 3 events in September instead of 0.

It would be fair for our server to have 6 events during October.

just curious if we're going to have to wait another month now seeing as we had a guaranteed event... there's no way to know if the 3 events would have taken place during it (and therefor been overidden by it)... but there's still been no random events that I'm aware of...
would be pretty annoying to loose another month before it gets looked into

PS. the Event that was held was great, so I want to make sure it's understood that I'm not complaining about it. Just wanted to know how it will affect this issue.

thanks for reporting this bug. We've found some issues with our event generating script and fixed it today. We're going to doublecheck generated events in November for every server to make sure new script works well. Please accept our apologies.
