Patch v 1.1.0.13

Halved the people cost of expeditions and the Ritual of Sacrifice.

I have to say well done. There was a general lack of people on the server and this could help a bit.

Yea much has happened since then.

I have employment agency level 30 (i think almost impossible to build nowadays) it generates 175 people each hour, i can start expo every other day which means that between expo i will generate 8400 people. 8400 people is only enough to bring 168 level vampires into expo, myself(level 74) and 98 levels more.....

Level 29 Employment Agency cost 5 milion people and level 30 costs 12 milion.
I had many people asking if they could attack me for people to start expo/build something. Myself I struggled to get 200k!! A bit ridiculous.
Do the devs have anything to say to this whole situation?
The only good building in Z2 is now useless: Sacrifice 1229 litres of blood and 122900 people to gain 130 % HP during the siege.

The patch could increase the amount of people (as a resource) on the server, but will it solve the whole problem?

How about adding the possabillity to 'resurect' lost people with blood??

Or to buy blood from wastland caravans (they get it from ..animals..) and purswade/bribe wastelanders to join your city!!

2 easy-ish ways to get people, especially as money is the easiest resource to get..

EDIT: you could also use nanites and mana for all of these, making it harder to use especially in large numbers, but still functionable!! =]

That would go somehow against the whole story. There is a simple solution: Increase the production of Emplayment Agency.

Really?? Arnt the quests all done in the wastes?? And the caravans?? And i thought a few quests mention people living out in the wilds (like rural villages and the like)

hmm when did this convo go from loving the devs to tring to push them in to anuther courner they just helped us be grate full for what you have?? i under stand what ever one is saying but i can now all so kinda understand why the devs might ignore what ppl say since you prase them and with the same sentnce ask for more...

Yes, but its a compleatly differnt game for the people on the first page!!

people like diablo do expos every day and blood and people are immensly scarce that high up!!

But still, its not complaining for more, its just suggestions of what could be done, its nice to imagine!! =]

Just like the blood shortage we had there is another now woth people. Thats why the devs probably did this patch.
I'm not asking for more now. We will see if this works and if it does everything will be fine.
We ARE grateful for this patch.

I would expect this patch to eventually level out the people problem, it just won't be soon. Production should start going up now though as less people are expended on a regular basis.

Although... You know what would REALLY help? Especially with the top end buildings?

diablo your ammount of blood souldn't be a suprise as not many ppl can attack you bro Smile

but for me getting ppl for expedition was a bit of work Smile

same with getting ppl for siege (graveyard) that i'm still depending on good will of those who can give me a free hit for to get 90k ppl for siege (lack of internet in my work = problem with full hp on siege)
but at least expedition will be a bit easier to start, instead doing 5 attacks to get them now i can do only 2 or 3 Smile

i can live with that Tongue

it could end up having a reverse effect. although its cheaper now, later on when more people are able to run expo's combined with easier use of graveyard will ultimately end up in more people being used, meaning less resources on server. what we really need on top of this is for higher level employment agency buildings to produce a higher yeild.
im not complaining by the way, merely pointing out a flaw

sounds good in theory
but i started playing 2 weeks after server opened
not enough time for lvl 1s to amass that much
and it wasnt till later that year the people went up suddenly ???
after xmas last year the record for people taken in ambush was 10million
so at that point someone had 30million+ people at hand
if your statement is true then by now lvl 1s would have even more people to be taken in ambushes
but blood is the only resource that has ever risen through the ranks
people have always come from the top players and down through the ranks.

any real low lvls want to show how much people can be gained from lvl 1s ???
post up some ambushes here Smile

I'm beyond the level now, but in one ambush on Pl I took around 600,000.
unfortunately Istupidly then went for people too strong for me

i think it goes in the reverse really, as low levels ammass that amount of people over time, and it moves upwards. i ambush people lower and similer levels to me, and take about 2k blood and people, sometimes up to 7k people, which means i amass a lot, over the christmads period i nearly reached 60k blood, aand just as many people, which isnt bad when you consider im just over 100 points, although its all been farmed now, so iv lost most of the people and 40k blood, its all moving its way up the system.

@azz woudnt the boost be because the game would have gotn around more, and once you enter the winter months people are more reluctant to go outside due to the weather. this means that more people would sign up, and start generating people. over the christmas period less people play, so people who do play [like me] get a chance to get uge amounts of recources as less people are ambushing them.

your saying 70k people is a lot from a days ambushing
not compared to 10 million from 1 ambush
that was the peak of the population boom
ever since then its just come down and down
and now i feel lucky if i have 70k people but it wasnt always like that
and if it was because of winter and people staying in where was this years boost ???

im just giving an example, to show how recources build up over the christmas period, normally i have less than 10k. if you think about hom many low levels there are, all generating a few people... they have huge amounts of blood, and so in theory the would have loads of people. it doesnt take very long to be too high level to attack a levrel 1, so their is a short time frme, its almost as if the game depends on new players regulary throughout the year to bring the recources up.

the reason this years boost didnt happen was when the game first started everyone was a lower level, so recources woudnt have taken as long to move up through the ranks, so less wuld be lost, less expos would have been done, and building woudnt consume as many people, so less off the recources would have been lost as it moved up. now it has a lot more people to move through, each taking a larger chunk as they do expos and build things.

what they should do is set up a voting thingy on these websites

and everytime we click the link (once each a day)
we get 2000 people join us

not too much for lazy programmers to do to set it up
and it will help to advertise the game

not something new players will need to use but a lot of people would vote daily Smile

the new french server (i think was made start of last year) already has the same amounta players as this one!! Albeit people are booted every day (it goes up and down all the time) So we seriusly need somthing like this!!

Yeah that server has a serious problem though. The large amount of people playing are advancing too quickly and there is a mass shortage of Blood when you move beyond Zone 5 because even most 10 pointers have already moved there;they get picked on by stronger people preventing them from building the buildings which are important for advance. The only way to beat the system is luck in quests allowing you to buy nice items. They may have the same amount of people already but it has ruined the gameplay so I don't seriously think it is good to be like them.

Just voted, if some kind of reward was given for voting it might solve two problems at once.

1. Advertisement, and that at a very low cost. And with a reward people would vote
2. Resources, the daily vote could give you blood and/or people, solving the shortage

i do like this patch, does help us start expos easier, as i get farmed alot by all diff lvls its hard for me to keep ppl
but yeah i do agree with you others its a joke to upgrade
i have to waste all day attackin for ppl just to try and get a simple upgrade done like 80k ppl, and you higher ppl like diablo and natedog
needein like 200k its mental, how the hell are u meant to save that many ppl ?
by the looks of it there aint even no where near enough ppl on ere.
if im findin it hard raisein like 80k ppl i can image whats its like for you lot up there

i dont no how hard it will b do this, but what about givein us some ppl in quests?
i no we wouldnt get alot from em but im sure every lil thing to get ppl will help right ?....

Well not a bad idea to add new building either producing people or increasing their production. There could be one building for every zone.
Another way is to lower the looting percentage from 30% to 10% like for blood or money, But I still think the production is too low.
