Hello guys here, as you are so much more advanced than us on our tiny french server, I would like to ask you a question, well some !

- On our server where the top guy is about to be level 50 and top 50 are lvl 47-48, 80 % of the guys are now running with long range weapons.

I just want to know if at higher level it will start to be less overpowered because atm they are dealing so many damages than no other class can fight with (beside other long range).

- I'm a gunman and I would like to know a bit more about my chance to fight as gunman on sieges and expeditions. Is that possible to do some phoenix as gunman anytime soon ?

the seiges aspect
i havent been in many seiges yet as gunman
coz legendary increases your chance to hit for one handd guns it means you efectively have more perception o you can hit most expo monsters

the other qiestion
well im not sure exacly what u mean
do u mean 2 handed guns?

dun wry stick to being a gunman u will get to slay any monster like them. its jus a matter of time, at the end u will be the one having the last laugh. bahahaha "cough" "cough"

Yes I'm using one handed guns.

My main question was about the overpowerdness of range weapon at our level, where you can do nothing against...

If you know something about that at higher level it would help me Smile

oh!!! 2handed against ranged. ah that is where the 2handed user lose Frown

sry. nothing much can be dun, except get high perception to stop then getting in ambush. is what i would say. when i was lvl 50. i nvr won against rangers they where awesome. sry i know i m not helping much :/

To explain what I mean by overpowered (and we got 20 guys like that in top 50) I could be one too, but I don't like being a sheep.

hehehe. we dun have many range in our lvl jus yet. well there is but they are too awesome and i dun wanna attack them Frown

and i am a 2 handed gunner. the best to defend against ranged is like i said high perception. dunt let them in. cause i think its hard for range to get gd amount of rep.
or many u buy a cheap hunting rifle and hunter shirt. u know. does the trick.

wait let me find some ranged fighters to help out.

sry cant find gunman vs range.

i did find range vs melee and 2handed gun but not a gd result Tongue

As a 2h meleer i have found no problem in tearing through rangers but for 1h guns i'd say gangster with high defense

These are the best I've done.
You dont have to fear ranged weapons, your perception will be high enough later so they will crush at 30% chance for a sucessful ambush.

Thank you guys, to be honest diablo, you are the one that made me choosing this path at the beginning (I saw a siege of you somwhere).

for the moment I have some hard choices to make for my defense.

I can have : (all with 49 charisma and no buildings count)

8x51-70 damages
65 perception
55 def

8x51-69 damages
38 perception
102 def

8x41-60 damages
71 perception
62 def

I'm mostly using first set up but I can't kill a lot of my attackers at the moment :/ Only the noobs...

If I use second, almost none 1 melee can kill me but any noob gunner can kill me... or even a cac with some perception on...

If I use third, I can detect some guys, but most of the cac can kill me easy because I don't deal enough damages...

This is where I am at the moment.

Don't worry about defence. Well, forget about defence. With deadly set and solar I have 12 Big Grin

This is your best choice for attacks and sieges:
8x51-70 damages
65 perception
55 def

This is the best for expeditions:
8x41-60 damages
71 perception
62 def

Instead of defence, try to boost your damage. The Gunman tattoo is about raw damage Wink
