First of all, I really like the idea! I really hope they get implemented on Underworld soon tp help stave off boredom (I'm close to drifting away from the game again :/).

Can you merge them?

If not the suggestion then is: allow merging of Epic items, but do it completely differently to normal merging.
Merge two Epic items to get a fresh Epic drop. Completely new item, with the tiny chance of a Unique item again.
Merge an Epic with a Unique for a completely random item that has a 50% chance of being unique.
Merge two Uniqur items for a new but completely random Unique item.

Players are much more likely to get stuck with items they don't want or can't use as they are account locked. Allow merging as a complete reroll and you can try to turn a Cap and a one handed gun into an item you would use as a mellee character.

- bandanna – each time you get hit, there is a 20% for a counterstrike. (deals 50% of final damage – including defence etc.)

just wondering does punishment effect still work on the counterattack or not.

also would epic and unique items be in the chest of crap you can open

The problem with epics on underworld is that they probably would have to be better than legendary perfect +5 and getting an item to that level is harder than getting a legendary perfect item on necro servers.

Also you can now post in the original thread with the patch Smile
