Hello,
You must be asking yourselves a lot of question regarding epic items, here are some answers to basic questions:
1. What are EPIC items?
They are exceptional items that combine the stats of Legendaries with quality OVER perfect.
Eg. Epic demonic flail would have stats of a legendary uberperfect demonic flail.
It will be account bound!
2. What does account bound mean?
It cannot be traded, added to CA. Only the person who found it can use it.
3. Drop.
As they are account bound, the chance to find tchem will be higher.
4. Drop quality.
In relations to the above, players in A2 will have a higher chance of dropping better basic items for epics (eg. daggers instead of clubs)
Additionally, players in A3 will have a higher Chance to drop rare affixes to epic items.
5. Effects of luck.
Luck will modify the chance of finding epic items and also the quality of the basic item and the affixes!!!
6. Drop in different zones.
Epics will NOT be zone-dependant. It means that they can have a unique combination of affixes.
WARNING! The zone you are currently in will increase the chance for an epic item and its quality, it will work like “additional” luck.
7. Easiness.
Epics items will PROBABLY not have any requirements.
8. Underworld
At the moment we are not adding epic items to UW. This is something we are considering, but the project is not ready yet.
9. There is a Chance that epic items will have some unique affixes with exceptional properties inspired by the heroes of the BW world.
The effects, however, are in early design.
10. ETA – very very soon, it will be added together with the ritual for perfect items (UW) and Lord of Darkness points modification.
11. What about players who are constantly unlucky?
We are implementing a GUARANTEED drop system so that even the most unlucky players will get a lot of epics.

Atleast this way you definately deserve said items lol. I assume as everything on Necro is better on UW for stats it would be huge bonus' if they would be released.

it would make Legendary items armour plus weapons worth something in auctions since armours would also have bonus when they become epic. and it would mean you did earn it. but they could increase the legendary drop rate to help since it would be damn hard hard to do
only problem would be if item has enchants on them ether allow thw merge or if item has enchant give item increased chance of becoming unique by sacrificing the enchantment
