| Let's start testing the second expedition map |

Hello,
we are very pleased the announce the second expedition map. As a part of our tests, EVERY ONE of you will be able to try to beat the mobs from the first eight locations.
WARNING! In the test version, each player will be able to try their luck in each location ONCE.
The outcomes of your fights will help us better balance the new opponents.
WARNING2! You won't be able to get RUNES or MEDALS during tests!
WARNING3! You will not be able to gain access to the new locations in any other way.
Here are all the rules for the new expedition map.
- Access to the map:
WARNING! All the below information concern the FINAL VERSION.
There are a couple of way to gain access to the new map.
- if you can a mob on the first map (starting with hydra), you get a one-time ticket to the corresponding location on the second map.
WARNING! Tickets do not stack. Even if you kill 10 hydras in a row, you'll only have one ticket to the first location on the second map!
- if you get a medal for a mob on the second map, the location will remain open for you permanently.
If you have the medal for killing Chronos, then the first eight location of the new map will be available to you without any restrictions.
- Access to location no. 9 on the new map.
In order to gain access to the ninth location, you'll have to get the medal for ALL eight previous bosses.
Each subsequent location will require the medals for the previous ones: if you want to go to location no. 10, you need medals for locations 1-9 etc. (that's for new map only).
- Additional boss besides the boss.
Apart from the boss, locations will also contain servants, depending on your luck you can fight against:
the boss
the boss and a lesser servant
the boss and a greater servant
the boss and both the greater and lesser servants
In order to win, you have to defeat ALL the opponents.
If players fail to kill all their opponents, then all of them (even those defeated) return to the monster pool for that location.
E.g. if you get a boss with a lesser and greater servants, then you have to kill all of them in order to be successful. Ties still count as losing..
No matter the outcome (tie or defeat), ALL the opponents (even those you have defeated) will return to the available pool.
- Gaining a medal.
You get a medal for landing the final blow on the boss of the location but only if you win (kill all the enemies).
- Hunt.
If you gather the hunters, you'll fight against either:
the boss and a minor servant or
the boss and a greater servant
- Resurrection.
When resurrecting mobs, a lesser or greater servant is resurrected in addition to the boss.
- New map and expedition limit.
There is only one limit, no matter if it's the old or new map. You can fight only on the new map if you wish.
Currently, drop and experience will be gained in exactly the same way as before. We will keep an eye on the new content to make sure the rewards are worth it.

Sounds good, looking forward to testing this out. But:
- if you get a medal for a mob on the second map, the location will remain open for you permanently.
If you have the medal for killing Chronos, then the first eight location of the new map will be available to you without any restrictions.
Does this mean that having chronos badge counts as permant ticket to the first 8 locations on the new map?

Any recommended levels for these locations? Or do the "bad" locations with low points rewards still become worth it for Rune drops, even though they seem underwhelming now before they are implemented?

I know its only development so far.. But does anybody feel like Melee & POSSIBLY Ranged - From the stats, I've seen one with 950 combo.. are nearly obsolete for the higher ones we have seen so far?

Is it only the person who launched the expo? It works like a badge?
Or is it anyone who kills a Hydra, would then get the one time portal key?

Should be a 25% cap increase like searing blood.
Or maybe it's a 100% damage increase, but happens only once (remains permanent - but what I mean is it activates after one critical hit, but does not stack for each crit hit he takes).

Will there be any new mobs that favour mellee or ranged users?
Or will the game be renamed Sniper Wars? <.<
Gratuitously snarky, I know. (Especially as BKS and Ranged are both good in King of the Hill). But there does seem to be an obvious best tattoo right now...
