Here are the changes that will be implemented very soon with patch 1.7.1:

• [Necro] Beast Master gains racial bonus: +10% ignore defence.
• [UW] Wakizashi gains +10% ignore defence with each weapon at perfect +5.
• [UW] Chainssaw gains +15% ignore defence at perfect +5.
• KotH: each full 100 Grace of the Lord of Darkness pts owned by the creator adds 1% to the Chance of playing an additional level.
• KotH: A change has been made to how opponents are chosen when a character is not within level limits of a location. If many strong players are taken, the system will choose additional opponents from progressively lower difficulty level and not from the maximum difficulty level for a player.
• Expeditions: added a universal ticket to the second map. You can get it by defeating an opponent from the first map, starting with Hydra. Using it allows you to access one of the first 8 locations of the second map. If you had at least one “old” ticket when the patch went live, you were given a new one for free.
• Expedition: added a „no exp” option – you voluntarily choose not to receive XP and PP when creating an expedition (the XP is lost, it is not divided among the other participants).
• Added 4 new evolutions that increase your chances of finding rules, at level 4 they let you use an additional rune of a given element.
• Added two new random events. Full moon: +50% chance of finding a rune. Eclipse: chance of finding a rune is halved. When the patch goes live and on the next day, we will activate Full moon!
• Leviathan now provides +X defence for each NON-critical hit. Regeneration is still triggered by CRITICAL hits.
• Fury of the beast now triggers a counterstrike on each CRITICAL hit (old: non-critical).
• Changes to Mask of fear: for each X levels of Mask of Caligula, you deal 2 more damage. X equals 6, 5, 4 and 3 for subsequent levels of the talisman.
• Main menu displays the number of premium days left.
• Talismans used are now visible in spy report (when using the option which checks equipment).
• Auction: you can now choose to filter by legendary, non-legendary and all.

I'm assuming that means you'll be able to launch an expo and choose not to gain exp from it

Next time please tell us at least a few days in advance before a patch goes live.
When you launch an server event for 2 days it's to ensure that everyone get's a fair chance of trying it out. But now people who started expedition before patch hit the server will be missing out.

So if one chooses not to gain exp from his own expo, does it mean he can start another within 48 hours again to gain exp? Just clearing out the confusion as a good Samaritan can participate in as many expo he wants but gain exp only from one. Otherwise there's no point in wasting the exp points.

@dooz lol don't ask for converting the weapon type , instead be patient because I'm sure soon enough another super balanced patch will come to reverse the effect Big Grin

NEVER USE THIS FEATURE ON UNDERWORLD.

Was hoping it would avoid the anti-solo patch, act scaling, SOMETHING that would help with ticket farming.

A few Necro familiar players say it's just for grinding items over there.

But for anyone else it seems pointless.

As for the chainsaw discussion - this is the point of rebalancing. We believed that chainsaw was too weak so we buffed it.

Yes, it was too weak. I completely agree with that. (melee in general is too weak against mobs 5+ on second map)

When you balanced weapons last time i argued for chainsaw, that it should be the strongest weapon. But it was decided that katana should have it's extra attack. So i spent the better part of a year to merge and upgrade weapons. Now I have to redo that!
I ask you again, will 2h melee weapon users get the option to turn a katana into chainsaw?

i don't think it's possible for all the 2h weapon users to redo their weapons into chainsaw on a empty server Roll Eyes

And of course it'sd techically possible, it's an record in a database with some parameters such as affixes, upgrade level and some key to it's item type. It's a matter of wether you/the devs are willing to do it

You should be using a SQL database for this I would assume, which is relatively easy to do Tongue

All you need is names / ID of the players and jobs done.

Or, alternatively (as is the case with every balancing patch with every game ever), you will have to make do with a slightly sub-par weapon for now. We are not doing any katana to chainsaw swaps.

The thing is that making a new "end-game" weapon will take 6 months, fighting over parts that everyone needs and earning stones for upgrades. And if we want to actually earn stones for those upgrades then we cannot do the new expos, because theres no stones on that map.

Melee being shafted completely here, monsters getting increasingly harder to damage(higher and higher agility and higher and higher defense). While snipers just need to make behemoth and do their 20k damage to every mob.

Sorry if i sound ingratefull. I like this new map na dthe idea of the talismans. But as far as balance is concerned, they way i see it. Sniper just keeps getting better and better compared to other tattoos

The patch is still in the beta, we are working on balancing the tattoos and the map. It will probably take some time though Frown

How about an evo that increases upgrade chance? Most of us here who aren't called Levija are sick to death of wasting months on this game to lose it all in about 5 seconds..

Thanks for the new and quite interesting development.

It does seem to need further balancing. For one, making Mask of Fear weaker (from 1-2-3-4 to damage for every level of Mask of Caligula) was justified, but now it's much weaker than Claws of Night (and that's for an arcanum that by itself is only useful in ambishes/1v1 and 3v3 arenas, unlike the corresponding Night Hunter which is useful everywhere).

Also thanks for the "samaritan expo" option and the filter for non-legendary items in auctions, both are quite nice to have.

Please include in future for re balancing Bestial Fury - it's unreal to get a counter attack for 60% of critical attacks attacks,

For example a Beastmaster in PVP vs 1HG or Ranged - he will do +12 attacks (from 20)

Any news on Rune trading yet?

I just got my 10th Rune and can't make any Talismans yet. Still need my first Red or my second Yellow before I can actually DO anything O.o

Just an update - there will be no rune traiding between players (most probably!), instead you will be able to transform runes. Unfortunately, there are no more details at the moment.

are you thinking to improve equiping of talisman?
for example, settings in defence in arena and in normal defence- you can save arcana, but not talisman.
is it possible to do in this way that when you equip in armory questing set, talisman setting also will be applied automatically?
Now you have to do it manually each time.
Or maybe it is too complicated?

I've got a rage Inducing suggestion for Runes no one will love me for...

How about an option to Reforge a Rune, along the following lines...

100 points of the relevant essence will turn a level 1 Rune into a random new Rune.

This will keep people going on and on forever, which seems like something the dev team would like the sound of :p

Not sure about reforging higher level Runes, or a "Ritual" that costs a silly amount more to get exactly the rune you want.

But it's a suggestion that means it would take people forever to get what they want :p
