Hello,
We are going to add a quick patch to balance 2h weapons, most probably today

The changes are mostly:

- decreasing the diffrence in chance for critical hit

- decreasing the variance in damage (e.g. 35-55 instead of 30-60)

- modifying the chance to hit, better weapons will have bigger penalties (not too big though).

Why is this?

- we hope that chainsaws and katanas will still be the best weapons but not by such a huge margin.

- thanks to this, we won't have to nerf lottery prizes as the items will still be GREAT and AWESOME but would not be the only reasons players win.

- at the beginning, katanas and chainsaws could only be found in zones 1 and 2 and due to this they were given stats that would make them useful even with mediocre affixes. Nowadays, when drop rates are not so directly tied to zones (e.g. during the lottery), it is possible to get items whose chance of dropping was calculated to be 1 in the entire server's lifetime. This is the reason for present balance issues.

We hope that everything will go back to normal and we won't have to nerf anyone's prizes.

CROWBAR - critical hit chances changed from 9% to 8%, Hit modifier changed from"-6" to "-8".

PIKE - critical hit chances changed from 10% to 9%, Hit modifier changed from"-10" to "-12".

TWO-HADNED AXE - critical hit chances changed from 11% to 10%, Hit modifier changed from"-7" to "-16".

TWO-HANDED SWORD - critical hit chances changed from 13% to 11%, Hit modifier changed from"-1" to 0.

SCYTHE - critical hit chances changed from 14% to 12%, Hit modifier changed from"-8" to "-24", damage changed from 30-60 to 35-50.

HALBERD - critical hit chances changed from 15% to 13%, Hit modifier changed from"-5" to "-28", damage changed from 35-65 to 40-55.

FLAIL - critical hit chances changed from 15% to 13%, Hit modifier changed from"-12" to "-22", damage changed from 30-70 to 35-65.

KATANA - - critical hit chances changed from 20% to 14%, Hit modifier changed from"-4" to "-34", damage changed from 40-70 to 40-65.

CHAINSAW - critical hit chances changed from 26% to 15%, Hit modifier changed from"-8" to "-40", damage changed from 50-80 to 50-70.

I don't think this is a good balancing...
for 3 players we have nerfed too much

Best will be to rebalance the prefixes and suffixes
We have 90% of prefixes and suffixes that give only 5-20 damage, and nothing else... this is making 99% of items usefulness....

If you don't have agile/demonic katana/chainsaw of few prefixes then you are 0 no meter of suffixes or prefixes, so the game become a Z1/Z2 hunt =conclusion = on this server must play only 13 player for 5 ears and maybe they will get a good item Frown ((

And when they will get that items the admins will nerf that item because it will be too powerful compared to other players Frown
