Problem description: cant put avatar on profile

Invalid image extension. Allowed extensions: JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG.

1st i thought it was because i was trying to use an animated gif (that i have used before and it worked then)
so i knockedup a quick jpg of the same thing and still it wont allow it Frown

and it falls well within allowed W and H and file size

possibly stupid reply i know but maybe the extension of the file needs to be capitals too

e.g

my pic.jpg when it wants it to be my pic.JPG

see what i mean, stupid it may be but it might be right lol

also before you paste the link into the profile leave it blank and save it first so there is no avatar then paste and save it in

tried both them things
even tried a PNG image
and still........

how big is the file?? i no it said image extension, but could be it??

i used a lot of different sized images all well under 400k
and even the image i had on before wouldnt go back up :/

like the way this has been completely ignored by sausage when he was trolling the boards !!!

I've just tried to change mine and it works for different sizes and formats.

You don't point to a file on your hard drive, do you? Well, I know you don't, but it seems to be the last thing that someone could ask regarding your problem.
I think someone needs to have a look on that.

If you want send me the link to your pic ingame and I'll try if it works on my account.
