Hi,
ATTENTION! Following topic has been made for UW servers only! For the Necro server there will be no auction suspension.
1) in the coming week we are about to change the way stones are broken/merged.
You can find details in the topic here:

ATM the conversion rate is to be as follows:
10 bs = 1 hs +100 nanites
3 hs = 1 ls +100 nanites
2 ls = 1 ms +100 nanites
2 ms = 1 ss +100 nanites
There will be no loss in the conversion process but for each conversion there will be a set price to pay in nanites (as above).
Old conversion rates for breaking stones:
hs = 5 bs
ls = 12 bs
ms = 18 bs
ss = 42 bs
New conversion rates:
hs = 10 bs
ls = 30 bs
ms = 60 bs
ss = 120 bs
2) Auction values in stones will be adjusted accordingly, to be in line with the new conversion rates.
3) Other (costs, finding rates etc) will remain unchanged.
4) As we would like to avoid putting this patch live while auctions are still running thus causing massive chaos, please be informed that starting from:
Tuesday 30th of august, 8:00 AM UK time (BST).
an auctions lock will be in place, that will not allow any NEW auctions to be started.
ALL PREVIOUS AUCTION WILL STILL BE VALID TO COMPLETE AND TO BE ATTENDED.
5) Ability to start new auction will be reset with the introduction of new patch in Thursday 1st of September 2016 about 11:00 AM BST.

UPDATE:
After taking into account various opinions, we have decided that the conversion method might not be fair for all players. Instead of using it, we will use another method proposed by one of the players of the PL board, it should be much fairer for everyone.
1) all stones will be converted to bs at the auction/creation rate (e.g. SS = 500 BS, MS = 150 BS etc.),
2) the resulting BS will be divided by four, rounded up,
3) for the first month creating/splitting stones will not cost nanites (you will be able to create/split stones without any costs),
4) after this time nanites costs will be introduced, we will decline any further requests for free conversions,
5) as we want low-level players to not be penalized by this change to much, 50BS/level will be free from devaluation (calculated after all the other stones are converted, but before they are taken). This will affect all players so:
- for level 10 the devaluation free amount will be 500 BS
- for level 35 the devaluation free amount will be 1750 BS
- for level 100 the devaluation free amount will be 5000 BS
For example:
- a level 40 player has 6000 BS in total (auction value)
- after the devaulation he will have 2000 + 4000/4 = 3000 BS.
Advantages of the above solutiona:
1) the number of SS will not quadruple suddently,
2) the devaluation of stones should be minimal,
3) the number of BS will decrease, but they will be worth more thanks to the patch:
- you can get 4 times more SS with them,
- in order to outbid a bid of 1 SS you now need 501 BS, after the patch you will need only 121 VS.

UPDATED UPDATE:
Both previous solutions led to some people losing stones.
If we let you keep all the stones, people with the most high-value stones lost the most.
If we converted and cut by a %, people who kept stones to buy junk would lose.
That's why we decided that we will choose another option:
1. The number of BS will be multiplied by 0,9
2. The number of HS will be multiplied by 0,9
3. The number of LS will be multiplied by 0,9
4. The number of MS will be multiplied by 2.
5. The number of SS will be multiplied by 2,7.
Why this conversion rate?
We took into account what stones players have on their accounts and tried to minimize the DISPROPORTIONS in the number of lost stones.
They will still be there, but at least they will be minimized.
