some thing really needs to be done about this because this is really fustrating i tried upgrading my cap of adrenaline to good 2 times in one day and its really annoying cant the DEVs increase the percentage of the upgrading to good

It is supposed to be quite difficult, although the BW randomiser does seem to be out to get the players sometimes Tongue

I'm not too happy about it myself but I wouldn't say it's unfair. You just have to keep trying. You could always merge if you're REALLY annoyed but you should save that for Perfect+ were it's REALLY harsh.

For now, just think of every 10th point as an attempt to upgrade. The Lifestone to start, the Heart and Blood to recover lost levels afterwards. It's rushing that gets you in to trouble in this and most other games. Grit your teeth and hope for a reasonable Auction worthy drop that will let you try again.

It all depends on your luck. I upgraded a Murderous Mace of Betrayal and Shorts of Shepherd to Good (+1) without a single fail. You just have to keep trying until you succeed Smile

If you'll upgrade some items 100 000 times then you'll see that ~50% succeeded. The more times you upgrade the more clear it becomes.

ive posted in a thread similer to this.i upgraded my light dagger of agility +3 all the way to good +5 without one fail.so i think theres noting wrong.u might be having bad luck now but u might be succesful 3 or 4 times in a row.

so all in all i think the upgrading is ok.

but if the devs want to increase the chance by 10% say we wont complain *promise*

I have a problem upgrading too, all i wanted to do was get my good hunting rifle to +1 and i failed. I wasted 6 lifestones, 4 heartstones and about 15 bloodstones trying to get it back and now it is currently a hunting rifle +2. I thought fine it can stay that way Big Grin I'll just stick to my sniper rifle.

Sometimes things go right...

personally i dont think it will ever happen to buy it in the shop but it could be found and it could be bloody rare item to that will help upgrading items e.g.

Helpful ring (+3)

apperance +4 chances to upgrade items are increased by 5%

selling price 235 975

nanites:237 mana:93

just one small question to do with all the upgrading, when it says 50% chance for succsess does that mean that about half of all items you attempt to upgrade to good will succseed/fail, or half of all the items everyone on the server tries to upgrade will fail?
for example, scillage managed to upgrade a cap of precignition to good+5 without a single fail, while other people, e.g artoir have spent almost a ss getting the same cap to good+3

Just 50% chance for each item trying to be upgraded. So if you have 2 items you are trying to upgrade to good, 1 will succeed and 1 will fail...

It means every time anyone tries to upgrade, theres a 50% chance it will succeed.

That doesnt mean that everyone will have half and half, just that the probability is 50%

So if scillage gets his cap to Good +5 without fail, when he goes to get it to perfect, the chance will still be 30% (i think its 30?)

just upped my cape and gun to good +2 and good +1 and with only price of HS Smile 60% chance of succeful upgrade, i am luckiest ever so i saved a lot of stones in those updates =)
