looks like somebody likes to pay 16 ls for a cruel mace, it is not the first time we can see weird transactions, or this one, reported

Now many auctions have been reported up to now, but we don't know if auction is canceled, or nothing happens...

What I would like, for instance, is to be able to see on the auction page, for auctions that are reported, who bid on item, who is the seller and who the buyer, a kind of transaction history visible to all players so that if admins sleep and those guys are not banned at least we can keep an eye on what is happening ..and at least overfarm them, of course!

If the player in question does get a permenant ban, Szeszej will post his character's name in the Pillory section when he/she gets banned.

Perhaps, once the auction is finished and reached the Closed Auctions, the player's name who bought the item will be displayed somewhere?

well, it can happen stuff goes a bit too high and if admins are not enough vigilant, times go and auction is not canceled. I am always in need of stones so I try to be quite active on the market and normally I try to make as much stones as possible when I sell something. I report my auctions when I judge I got too many stones by time even if I want to spend the damn stones SOON!! But what if I am in vacation, or I don't have the time to check for example? Or if the 3 days go out and nobody do anything because it is week end and people are busy?


The price can be ridiculous high but you can have market fluctuations, you may want an item immediately so you pay it 5 times its value but some auctions, there can be a bid war.. a reported auction does not mean automatically a ban, since people could have good reasons to pay an item more than it is worth. You could even misclick!
Normally with some tracking of people involved admins can see and judge if things are ok or not. But this way we can give it a look too if we see that it happens to often to the same people. At least I won't take the risk to lend him my square lol

Many times it is evident that somebody is cheating, sometimes not. I think many players would like to have more transparency on this subject, so if it is hard to change the code so to show who is involved on the auctions that could be done at least with a thread in forum, that wouldn't take too much time since not many items are reported

We need to start thinking of solutions, devs obviously got better things to do

But without the devs being a bit more proactive this is just gonna carry on

Ps i cant think of a solution either, other than give someone the ability to reset auctions themselves but that power could well be abused and most probably will

We need some sort of auction pushing crack team Tongue

Edit: Maybe if they did give that power and they abused it, no warnings or anything just permanent IP ban for them...? Silly idea?

One report is more than enough, multiple reports is just going to allow the pusher to flood out peoples inboxes with auctions that werent pushes etc. Whoever gets the report should then investigate whether it should be reset or not within 24 hours not 24 days

I payed 10 SS for a Vengeful Ring before act 3 so around 15 SS in act 3 is acceptable and not considered a push, when you buy an item for alot of stones because you need it for an important merge that is took into consideration but when someone pays 16 LS for a club thats useless they deserve to be flamed Tongue

And this is why we need more transparency in the reports on push/pull etc in the auctions, and more details on why an auction gets cancelled.

i was in a bidding war last night with that untill al capone bidded the SS he bidded that to make sure he got the win as i would'nt pay that much for it so its not a push or w.e

and it was @ 2h 2bs at the 7th bid then he jumped to the SS to ensure the win
