XI is god awful, and I am not joking.
They said they won't redo VII because it was the easiest to make sequels and prequels for, so that's what they do instead.
Also FFVII had the highest unsatisfied returns of any FF game, in proportion to how many of each were bought.

They wont re-do 7 as they asre scared of ruining it, simple as that, and they dont think its the easiest to make sequels for, and havnt made any sequels. They are making the ff7 collection, of which already includes before crisis, crisis core etc...
And obviously 7 had a lot of games returned, it was basically the 1st jrpg that was released over here with a promotional campaign. 7 is and will always be considered the greatest final fantasy by fans.

Well it certtaininly wasn't voted it in Square's own survey.
And yes XIII looks good, but if it's as thin and watery as XII with a stupid boss with fifty million hit points then I think I'll give up on FF for good.

XIII looks pormising. But so did XII, the new system was supposed to be brilliant, it's a bloody cop out. I would rather have specific characters you know what I mean...
I think that X was VERY good though. In terms of story it is one of my faves, + the graphics, VI was the most amazing storyline I have ever played (Except Might and Magic 1-

6 was really good, lol, and 13 better not be like 12, the battle system was a retarded version of the kotor battle system, only not good, lol

XIII has the same battle system. Hopefully though the gambits will be worthwhile, they were stupidly powerful (The auto control system) I had my characters set up so Yiazmat couldn't kill them.
VI was awesome, and Kefka was funny.
I'm more concerned with the grpwth system, so far my favourites are VI's esper system, learrning spells from certain espers and items. And X sphere grid, eventually everyone could do everything, BUT they had to work for it... I always got Tidus steal early on, so he could steal petrify grenades from the basilisks and when you get Riku make a pertifying blade really early
But yeh.... I also liked the overdrives, not such a fan of quickenings.

i didnt play 12 that long tbh, bout 20 hrs, didnt like it at all, espers were really cool, and so was the system in 8( although flawed) but my fav, as predicitble as it is, would habe to be the materia system, it was easy to use and worked really well

Yes but it didn't really let you create the true character that you wanted.
I think I liked VI's most, because espers made you thinkwhat spells areurgent, what cna you wait for... not to mention each character was specialised, and they had the excellent relics... but yeh each character could do his own thing... albeit GoGo was able to do everything, at a lesser level. And they were all different, look at Cyan swordplay compared to Shadow's throw, to Sabin's Bltiz, to Terra's transform
Yeh VI was the best for character creation... well actually 1 was cos it was original

VI was the best storyline of them all. Expecially if you save shadow. Also the ending is fantastic in terms of the malluebility of it.

i still disagree, 7 was completly amazing, it had depth to it and made you care what happened to the characters...more so that 6 or any other ff game

I couldn't wait for the characters to die, I really was bored by the end of it.
VI kept me going and going, I lost track of time.
X was amazing in terms of character stories, due to the voice overs and the like it turned the game into something so tangeable... I think X was the only one that truely made you care for the characters

10 was good for character development and in caring about the characters, but 7 was the 1st game EVER to invoke an emotional ressponce from the player, it was the most revolutionary game of all time xD

Now that a load of rubbish. Every game invokes an emotional response from people, otherwise they wouldn't play them.
And VII left me dull as a stick, I saw it coming was the problem. Also how do you test your arguement, poeple may have gotten emotional reponses from games before, evryone is different after all.
Tekken was supposed to be one of those games, you got a response... and I admit, to King's ending in Tekken II I cried.

final fantasy 6 is good but final fantasy 7 is better especially the story and the characters
also the shin megami tensei series is very good and very hard, lol
I personally think that elder scrolls IV Oblivion is better than six

It may take the name but it certainly isn't a Might and Magic game. I am talking about the ones with the parties and the like, not where you are a single hero.

They are very good. Morrowind can be beaten in fifteen mminutes though, by using potions... I was really shocked when I saw the video of it

In that video the guy hacked the game, it was the pc version, you can't beat it that fast as it is IMPOSSIBLE to use some of the spells he did as you have to be lvled quite high, if you play it properly you can get 100's of hours of it like me, lol, I did nearly all of the side quests

Currently setting up my own Might and Magic game on another site
VI is amazing but bloody hard. Currently replayiong VII cos I like the Monk class.
As for Dirge, I actually quite liked it, mainly because I like Vince, and having Gackt as a soundtrack was AWESOME!

Yeh. I would say what the site is, but I fear I'd get a warning. All it is is people set up their own forum based games, and get players ect. we've got DnD and all sorts
Still think that Might and Magic beats FF in terms of storyline, but Might and Magic never really got a decent release...
What's your team?

Surely you have your team already?
I advise Paladin with Spear and Dagger (I'll explain later), Knight with Mace and Sword (Deadly combination), Archer with Axe and Sword (High damage) and Sorcerer with staff.
Now the reasons are, Paladin with Trident gets a secret bonus when the spear skill is maxed, the trident can hit three targets in one, combine with Modred (A vampiric dagger) and you draian hit points form all targets AND the dagger gives the trident a chance of hitting triple damage to three targets at once, it's lethal.
the others are simply deadly powerful weapon combos... happy hunting...
Oooh and if you slay a dragon, save by it's body and keep reloading until you get an Artifact or Relic, they are so powerful

That's Heroes of Might and Magic... not Might and Magic. You should have created a team of four players.
