Ok, ASSUMING THIS IS OPEN FOR EVERYONES OWN OPINIONS!

I don't care about his death, not because i'm a heartless bugger, but because i just don't care... he's dead now, it was obviously gonna happen, hell he looked as fraile (sp?) as an old man. And the fact is people die all the time, whoop-de-do, hes famous and had awesome songs, but the fact is everyone dies and everyone WILL die, and people are always dying, but no-one cares about THAT majority, which happens to be the rest of the world.

In my opinion, if your gonna make such a big fuss about him, then get ready to mourn for the rest of the world aswell, because he's just one guy, the rest of the world isn't.

If i went somewhat off-topic, then don't blame me, just my opinions and stuff.

EDIT: Today is about as sad as stubbing your toe, it's just annoying -.-

Remember this is MY personal opinion and all, if you don't like it, say so, get enough people saying it and i'll remove it tomorrow since i ain't staying up all night. Either that or a mod can do it if they REALLY wanna. So your gonna have to suffer with my comment for the night.

i agree it is sad he dead but ppl do die. you knew him for his music but you didnt know him ppl who make a big deal out of it are sad. whats more annyoing is for me is they wont leave him alone now there will be companys making money out of the best of him and noone will leave the family in peace to morn over his death. ppl die the world keeps turning and tomorrow a few hundered more will die.

This is one of those things where I just don't know what to think. The guy has been associate with being a kiddie diddler and although he was never found guilty in a court of law he did make a huge 22 million dollar settlement. Maybe he was innocent...who knows but because of this I can't really celebrate his life as an artist or "mourn" his loss.

He wrote some good music... so did a lot of people who are now dead.

But unfortunately he will be remembered for many other things than just the music - why? - because that was the life he chose to live. Now he's dead.

No big loss really - I can still listen to his music if I want - therefore I won't really miss him.

Who remembers Farah Faucett - she died today as well... she was the embodiment of the 80's sex star, and the flick haircut.... now that was a real talent - NOT!

its quite funny really all these ppl saying this and that he was good man. but manly coz hes dead if he was still alive he would wacko jacko, or the man who hung his child over the balcony or even the did he or didnt he abuse the kids question. its so hypocritcal.

its as bad as when (waiting for backlash) princess diane died. why cant they just leave her in peace instead of draging her out again every now and then. or do you think her sons like to be reminded of her death everytime a t.v station or mag needs sales/viewers

Personally, I think he gets alot of criticism from what he... done.... with children. A friend of mine said a rather nasty thing about him, about it being good that hes dead. I didnt like the man, but, a nice person as I am, I think he shouldnt get that sorta ridicule for what hes done over his life.I must admit, his songs were... okay(some of which yo coldnt help but laugh at and turn the channel automaticly) and its good to see that his memory is on going.....
When I got the news from a mate at work, I seen that everyone was glum looking, as if a family member had died...
Maybe thats what happened??????
