From this I just thought leave it don't put on an item and it will be okay, once you know there is a new buton to remove it from nothing yes your sentence is good enough, I hope I am the only one who did not get it on the first try.

Problem description:
In koth you have with the latest patches the possibilities to raise your favors if you do not use the enchant, as I understood it, as long as I did not use it on an item it would work, i launched a a small gate level 4, I had not used the enchant.
I got the usual message : remove it from item if you want a new enchant, I checked, there were no item, so I did not bother.
I only found afterward, since I didn't get any new enchant : that you need to remove it from the enchant wheel to gain favours
_> you could either add an addendum to the patch note to explain how to gain favours or change the error message in the case the enchant exists but is not on an items : "to gain favors first sacrifice the gained enchant " or some thing with the same meaning

if you look at it, you sjould see that we were samaritans in your fights so our ranking evolution came from another fight.
but it still seems strange because we only got 4 season fight from our non samaritan fight

Hello,
some people use the market to duplicate, and some of those complain for a bidding war. But sometimes the pieces you duplicate may be interesting to others as merge pieces, they may also interest low level players.
In all this I sometimes see the "duplicators" over bidding at all, cost, making all the auctions of the same objects get more expensive, letting a few get sold to others might reduce your overall cost in BS even if it takes a bit more time to rech the number of items wanted.

Problem description: This morning when wanting to go on defense gear, the game said I was missing one Item : my good shorts of the sun (+5), it is not on auction, neither in CA or in the sold part of the vendor.
I only destroy stuff that is in the shelf 1 of the armoury.
I had it for sure 36 hours ago, yesterday, I only used my cell phone so I can't confirm. (the viex is less encompassing to see the red messages.
I there is a log to see if I have done a huge mistake or if there was a bug it would be appreciated.

Location max levels + (location level*bonus) the bonus depending on how much you "invest" to pay for it
for example with the 30 gold bonus for slums
250 + 1*30 = 280
in citadel with the same cost you get
750 + 8*30 = 990 max level

I do not know where you read it, but the tooltip clearly says that the bonu given is multiplied by the "level" of KotH or Expedition
so for slum just add the bonus, for horace add the bonus 2 times and so on.

I can merge a legendary shuriken of reaction which will be good but I won't be able to get it to good +2 (current basic shuriken of reaction level).
My question is : is the merge worth it?
I would loose about 30% in critical chance, to win 30% in chance to hit. My maximum sum is around 220 right now so getting to 285 in sum will still not help me againt expedition mobs and reduced critical will be hard in ambush as I do not have that many damage augmentation gear.
Any advice for a relatively low level (65)?

An answer from a player who wen tmissing so long ago but came back (beastmistress)
Going for the blackknight means really long term, you won't get the item with the right defense and effective in a fight easily (and if you get them, be able to wear them will be the problem) => a slow build up to high "durability". And a slow build up in tatoo level.
The monk and the berserker, you can have the tatoos to level 5 without bothering with expensive and high prerequisite equipment. (weapons of suicide).
Both compensate their low armor with hp/toughness/dodge from Tatoos but can usually get more agility.
BK "fears" gunman (defense is useless only toughness has a need) but are pretty unbeatable by ranged user and one handed melee with low strength (but do not necessarily beat them, draws can happen a lot).
Easiness is a great bonus, and is very needed to keep up with equipment upgrade (legendary helps too)
Berserker are mor one handed melee except against black knights and expedition mobs with high defense (the + damage to every weapon has more impact on one handed).
If you believe you can become a premium user in 6 months to a year, going for either monk or berserker should be your way, it will help your progress, BK is longer and easier to go for one you reach level 55/60 or even later.

Hello there, it has been a very long while, I came looking at the updates and so, and see if I could get back in the game and have fun.
There are things that are new, some I can find explanation (news/wiki and board research). But I am stuck with "choose treasure" in quests : to what system is it linked?
Any explanation what each does, what are the limits (you can't choose everything even long term if it stays true to BW game design of back when I was playing)?

Act 2 is great for absorber, before their arcana was more or less useless, now they have a good one for expo, and can block any one point arcana (extra attack, horror)
Cultist get searing blood which can relatively not be blocked before going against really tough mobs (in the level 80+ optimum ones).
Beasmaster gets extra attack in melee
Toughtcatcher gets more HP in expedition, and steal the thunder from oponents in ambush.
Horror is a one way ticket into any ambush (paying attention that in UW realm, there is no pop penalty if you are under optimu level in expo)

The only thing I regret is the hydra, where the comfort zone is both in act 2 and 3, making it very difficult not to have a team with both, and only one act 3 even if only a level 65/66 makes the beasts a lot tougher.
I do not think it would be such a problem on more populated realms with clans by level, but on UK realm, it makes it that much harder for the level 60-70 to progress. (especially zith the evolution as they appear and makes ambush even harder on the act3 players for act 2 ones (as the no building effect time is not that long a problem).

which apply in ambushes only and exist with dodge, punishment, or even horror who have it in arcana that also work in expedition and siege (but can be block).
I think, in this case the problem lie more in the under population (at level 60 there are few targets around your level and level 70 players sure have more chance to have either option for the does not attack in first round effect)

Anyone took part in the beta weekend?
I did and had a blast. The story is reallly great, the voice acting is overall good reaching toward excellent, there is nearlly no lag, old notebook computer like mine need to remove shadows and some graphic options when indoor (lighting...).
Despite being a stress test I have been deconnected only once over the whole weekend. The only real problem was when quitting or logging out, you had to use alt+f4 because the game would not let you go... really you completed a survey for bioware, and then instead of the game stoopping you could continue to play as if nothing had happened.
The crafting is interesting in that it does not really take on your gaming time, only on your ingame money.
The quests are usually pretty meaning full nearly to a mass effect equivalent.
The player were also pretty friendly, with no real problem to find player to group nor griefing for having to go afk or being in game inept. The game helps in that even if at the end of a group instance you can ask for another player to join he will just have to run to the end or you can call a companion.
I am biased in that I am a story, I love reading ST and fantasy, I love the mass effect serie and dragon age 1&2, and I like the star wars extended universe (adult side, the children stories are still children stories).
If anyone has questions or want to tell their opinion I want them ;-)

you are 6 level over optimum pop for gold dragon, there are 2 other that are 3 level over optimum (67-73).
Which means the beasts gets higher bonus than if you would go for golem.
We did two hydras without act 3 player yesterday, apart from a strange dodge for one player, we killed both with a full team (over 300 level, all in act 2). agility at 161 and 179.
What was done through the patch was rehabilitating the beasts to their ptimum level range (making them worth killing and only killable by a nearly full team in level points and reduce the effectiveness of big hitters in small expos).
It is more of a problem on english moria due to the rather small active population (so relatively few player in same level range for each range).

60kxp is nice, maybe badges will be gotten around the optimum pop levels
I got my hydra badge at level 56 before getting my pheonix badge.
On a golem run, a thousand pointer (level 72/73) got her badge for the twins (optimum pop range at 92/9
.
Maybe the goal is to avoid badge too early, like white dragons are due to stats requirements for objects. Legendary items made some badges a lot easier, and due to server age, they become cheaper (legendary broad mace for HS,can kill pheonix, low level red dragon, hydra...)

I am in zone 4, my drops only changed for easy quests where I got +2 and +3, for normal and hard quests, drops have been as before (+4/+5 on normal, good and good+1 on hard).
Does the event only affect easy quests by design or is it a bug? Or is zone 1 that undesirable?
I am in act 2 if it helps

what about adding to the tutorial, I am ready to translate / copy from the forum some great info that should be available to new players that are "afraid" of
forums.
I think the french wikia for BW has nearly all the usefull info and could be a base to make the english wikia better (as thay are many french players that could help for translation).
For example there are set bonus for both necro and underworld, tasks and so on
We could put nearly all the mishmash post its (making a nice presentation, formatting the datas)
Maybe open a section to all registered so that they can propose pages which could be approved by the mods/devs.
